Let me set a default mail account
I have two email accounts: one with my generic Yahoo username and one with Yahoo small business. With new mail, both accounts are available under the Compose button. But every time I log in on desktop, my generic Yahoo username account opens first. I never use that account. I want my small business account to open by default. Right now, every time I log in on desktop, it's an extra click. Let me set which one should open by default.

Improvement required on spam filter
Everytime I login to my account, its full of junk mails. Even if there are any important mails I am unable to find them within the huge pile of junk mails.
There is no feature in the settings menu where we can improve the spam filter. Pathetic !!!!This help page explains how to block or unblock email addresses in New Mail:

In filters, in addition to moving to other folders a new option to forward the mails to a list of emails should also be included

Don't auto delete emails in the Trash EVER - I like keeping some emails in Trash for long periods.
Also - I put an email in TRASH this morning - went to look for it - GONE

fingerprint sign in
Maybe you can offer fingerprint signing in on Yahoo app.
In order to do that please tap on your profile picture in the Yahoo Mail App > Settings > Security.

Improve your antiquated security and privacy
Block senders and security/privacy need to be updated as the number of spam e-mails has grown over the years. Time taken to delete blocked addresses is ridiculous , even worse when it comes to your filters. These are filled within weeks and months of setting them.Once you delete them the new ones start pouring in.Limiting the numbers that you can block/filter is so Windows 95. Get it together please. Make it possible to delete all old filters/blocked address in one click not 1000 or 500.

Cox has moved all its email services to Yahoo which could be a great thing. My main issue is that now the only way I can get my emails from all 6 of my Cox addresses in one inbox is blocked because I don’t want to pay 5 dollars for each account so that I can forward them to one in box at Yahoo.com that I have used for a few years now (which may not be possible anyway due to cox.net address). I don’t mind paying the five dollars a month…

I have been a user since 1999 and this is the worst yet, why have you disconnected the mail filter from the email list?
leave the filter as it was before, highlight the email and click yes to filter these type. You have it hidden in settings and have to manually fill in the fields, MUPPETS

The new font for the desktop version of the inbox and reading emails is too small, too skinny, and is an eyesore. Either the font needs to be changed or you should have the ability in settings to change the font to something easier to read. Currently, you are only allowed to change your font in the mail you compose. You should be able to change the font in how you see and read emails as well.

You can save your login info, by checking the ‘’stay signed in’’ option on the sign in page and make sure to not clear your cache and cookies in your browser.

I have a desktop, 2 laptops, and 2 iphones used almost exclusively at my house on my wifi. Why do I have to have double login on a private computer? I can understand it from another location (if I ever travel again), but I use it for personal and school. Doesn't make sense. We're two old people who trust each other with our codes!

Allow images back in the email signature.
We need it for our business and may need to create a new account with another provider which is not ideal.
