WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Glitches in the New Mail

    I tried to schedule an email to send later, it didn't work the first time. Had to open it back up and try again.
    Also tried adding a new contact and it doesn't have a way to save, so I can't add the email as a new contact.

  2. Split screen

    Whats with the new"split screen feature???? Pain in the you know where.... the turn off instruction on line does not match up with my settings - how to get rid>???? Cannot even file emails in files with this new feature - very frustrating - why not work on the ridiculously slow speed of opening emails - the delay is terrible instead you make something not needed that is even more frustrating.....

  3. Not able to get email to download to my PC email client

    Comcast recently pawned off my email - v*me@comcast.net - to you guys. Great. I did not like comcast and I have loved Yahoo for many years, just not as my email choice. The email seems to work great on your Yahoo website, BUT there are 2 major problems. 1) I can no longer access my Yahoo portfolios, and 2) I can't figure out the secret for adding my v*me@comcast.net to my PC's email client, and both Copilot and Gemini solutions do not work. HELP!!!!

    horrible service. switched from Xfinity to Yahoo as directed, Nothing switched over, and not getting any emails. I wish I still had Comcast (Xfinity)

  5. calendar needs help

    I don't know what happened but my calendar has changed is basically not at all useful. Anytime I'm invited from an outlook account now - for a teams meeting - there is no link for me to follow to join the meeting. The calendar defaults to a week view - and I have to change it to a month view every time. I like the old one better.

  6. Migration from Comcast

    I've migrated from Comcast to Yahoo. There is no help available for technical issues on this migration.
    The account that got set up for me at Yahoo is an IMAP account. l need it to be a POP account. The way to do this from my Mac OSX mail client is to delete the IMAP account and create a new POP account. I can delete the IMAP account on my Mac Mail client but I can't create a POP account.   8. Recent folder list in move button

    It would be great to have the list of the 5 most recent folders on top when you press the move button to move an email to a different folder. Every time you need to do it, you need to locate the folder again and again. Thanks!

  9. You can improve yhoo mail by restoring the ability for users to see the dates they entered in the calendar.

    Dear Yahoo team, please, stop improving the calendar and restore the customer's ability to see the dates I've added that are important for me. Everything has become terrible, and I'm looking for other ways to add them to the calendar from different sources.

  10. Connect multiple Comcast mailboxes after migrating to Yahoo

    I have more than one email from my years at Comcast.net and use one as my primary, and another as secondary. There seems to be no way, after a half hour of working at it, to combine another (or ANY) Comcast Mailbox. Options are there for Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL, and 'Other.' Nothing seems to work.
    I still want to be able to use the one sign in to monitor all my email accounts.
    Please advise if this is possible, and my best steps to make it happen.

  11. FWD msg to recipient

    The last time there was a yahoo update a feature seemed to change.
    Now, when i hit forward on an email, it DOESNT automatically put the cursor in the TO field for the recipient. Im not sure where its selected, but it needs to go back to that, like it is on every other mail platform. When you fwd to someone, I should be able to start typing the address without first having to click in the TO field. thanks!!

  12. Protect Starred/Tagged Emails from "Select All" Deletion

    The 'Select All' feature is fantastic for quickly clearing junk. However, when 'Select All' is used, it includes emails that I have already marked as Starred (or otherwise "tagged important").

    My suggestion is that the system should be designed to automatically exclude any emails that are Starred/Tagged Important when the user selects 'Select All' for deletion. This would prevent accidentally deleting priority messages while mass-clearing the inbox.

    In short: Starred/Important emails should be protected from the 'Select All' function for deletion.

    I love the new interface along with All mailboxes in one view. Easy short cuts to delete emails and navigate through.

    One issue I saw - not sure if I'm not doing it right, I have couple of alias emails on my gmail workspace, I dont see a way to reply from the email alias I received the email to.

  14. DARK MODE WHILE COMPOSING IS HORRIBLE!

    I wanted to share some feedback regarding an issue I’ve encountered while using Yahoo Mail in dark mode.

    When I compose an email with dark mode enabled, the editor displays white text on a dark background, which looks fine while drafting. However, I recently noticed that when the email is sent, the text remains white. As a result, recipients with the default white background cannot see the text unless they highlight it.

    Please program a language translation feature for translating emails received in other languages. For example --- If I make a reservation for a hotel in Mexico and receive a message in Spanish, I would like to be able to have the program translate the message to English. At present, I have to forward the message to a Google account to make that possible.

  17. Feature Request: Follow-Up Reminders in Yahoo Mail

    Dear Yahoo Mail Team,

    I’d like to suggest a useful feature that could enhance Yahoo Mail's functionality: follow-up reminders for emails. Gmail has an option that automatically reminds users to follow up on emails they haven't received replies to, helping to ensure important conversations don’t get lost.

    A similar feature in Yahoo Mail would be incredibly beneficial for users who manage busy inboxes and need a prompt to revisit unanswered emails. Having a built-in follow-up reminder would improve email organization and efficiency.

    I need to be able to change my settings on Time Zones from ETC/ GMT to EST. The drop-down menu does not give me the option to do this. Please fix this and let me know. Thank you.

  20. NEW EMAIL AND UNREAD IN DARK MODE HARD TO DIFFERENTIATE

    In the new version of Yahoo Mail, any read and unread messages in dark mode are so hard to differentiate. It was better in the older version.
