Search by Subject & Folder

I use Mail search almost everyday and the old Yahoo mail let me search by subject and folder. folder search is now gone in the new version. How do I switch back or get this daily used feature back ASAP?

    The idiot developers were even ablet o **** up the search feature? How can i search in specific folders now? That option seems gone. WTF

    when trying to delete me trash it automatically moved to my folders and deleted very important saved information. I demand you restore this vital information immediately.

    I just noticed today you have to hover the in the email in order to find emails that sender. How many people are going to do that. While I appreciate that a fix was made to problem I had, the old magnifying glass was just fine. Why lawd? Like many kindred souls have said, why would they make it like Gmail. I I've had this email for over 25 years.

    Totally agree with this. I actually deleted emails today because it searched all mail instead of just inbox. And before it could search by folders. I agree with others that this is trash like Gmail.

    Just go back to the previous version. Nothing else matters. We like Yahoo, not this Gmail clone you've made.

    This is extremely important to me. I dont like this version. I stayed with yahoo over gmail because of the sort feature. If this is not restored, I may be forced to go to gmail over yahoo.

    I handle multiple email accounts with Yahoo, and on both the phone app and now both the new and the "classic" mail versions have been updated to search only the current folder and not display the folder name. It is extremely important to get this feature back, as well as previous Advanced Filter/Search capability that would allow you to specify what folders you wanted to search. Defaulting to all was great, but restricting to one is ridiculous.

    i am extremely disappoint that the feature that allowed me to quickly search by sender and then quickly delet files has been removed. This is a feature I use everyday to help manage the extreme about of unwated/unread messages I receive. This will honestly make me consider using another platform after using this one for 25+ years.

    I use the sender/subject search all the time with the magnifying glass. Now I can't. I need it back!

    I had all my business folders organized and now they are not there, I need them for expense purposes, and I can't access them. words can't describe the frustration!!!!

    There is no option to search by folder. Bring back the old version. Who discards a perfectly working old version and removes all useful features in a new version? And I have to pay for their incompetence?

    I use it as well. not only do i search, but in the last version, i had 2 email addresses linked. so if i went to the search bar, it would search both accounts. life was good. now, i am finding it is 7-8 steps just to switch between accounts. that is sure fun and time saving. these people that made these changes are idiots and I am pretty sure they do not use the platform

    I used the search function a lot, the magnifying glass on the side of the sender and subject, now they are making things harder for no reason, this feature is not even on the basic mode.

    You can go back to classic version by going to the three dots look like this ... it's under folders locate settings scroll down until you locate switch to basic email and click on it takes you to the classic version. You can also sort by oldest to newest or newest to oldest in Inbox, Spam, Trash folders, etc. Hope this helps.

    New version of Yahoo Mail is disorganized - confusing. I cannot type to answer an email.
    What is the problem. How can I get help without being charged, and want to speak to agent without a foreign accent.

    The folders aren't showing unless I hit an arrow. Please have folders show when I go to my email. thanks
