Return to Classic Mail

Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

    These Yahoo heads are such clowns! They pushed this awful new version on us with no prior testing and feedback. They clearly don't respect us at all. I just signed up for Proton Mail today. Bye bye, Yahoo!! I have been with Yahoo for 30+ years. Done! I would have paid $5/month to stay with the old version. Such idiots! Also, Proton Mail has many appearance styles to pick from, Yahoo just has one! How hard would it be to give us options for appearance vs just all black and grey/white. The grey is a total disaster! Can barely read the emails with grey background and black font. So dumb. How about black/white...make it as easy as possible to read the text. All of us spend way too much time already on the computer and you want to make emails even harder to read and process?? Grey/Black?? lol. While you are at it, why don't you also include navy/black and light grey/white as options. Ridiculous. I am straining my eyes to read every email heading I now receive. Ughhhh!!

    I know I have heard that yahoo is trying to reduce the number of users by making people deal with the horrible new design but I'm just asking anyways because I really want to keep using yahoo. I've been here for a long long time and always considered myself loyal to yahoo mail but I'd really like to be able to use the old lay out at least for a little bit if that's okay?

    Basic email is no longer available to me and I contacted Yahoo to troubleshoot this matter. The support technician quickly explained to me that basic email was no longer available. WHY? The last time I had basic email, there was an option in the upper right hand corner of my email page to 'Go back to the old Yahoo Mail'. I selected that option and provided feedback for why I did not want the new Yahoo mail. Upon doing this, no changes were made and I was stuck with the new Yahoo Mail. I have to ask why feedback is even an option if you wont allow me to change back. I do not like change and this change is very frustrating. Please restore the old Yahoo Mail to my page!!!!!! This new Yahoo Mail is a steaming pile of excrement! Get a clue Yahoo! On another note, I'm glad thousands of people feel the same way! If someone wanted to get through just messages left today, they'd be busy! WAKE UP!!!!!

    So a friend of mine knows someone who used to until very recently, worked at Yahoo. The answer to why they're doing this is because they're trying to reduce the number of users. They have too many users and this is a way for the company to downsize (server storage space is expensive) without making an announcement (it's bad PR) or deleting peoples emails(also bad PR). This is a way to get people to voluntarily leave. By doing that they can downsize, cut costs without anyone knowing, or at least knowing it was intentional.

    Similar reason they got rid of Yahoo Answers and police comments.

    So many people LIKE the old version, its layout.... Why change a popular UI, why change a likeable and successful product? Why replace what is good, with what is ****? Get a frackin clue.

    Now I have to pay $5/month for your ****** NEW version. I am out!! I hate Yahoo and I will NEVER come back. The anxiety you have caused me by this switch is unforgivable. YOU SUCK!!

    The PRIORITY email tag is BS. How would you know if something is important or not! This is something I need to decide for myself. GO BACK TO CLASSIC. This inbox with the shading of the emails is really bad and backwards. Get rid of that. Again, GO BACK TO CLASSIC. All you have done is alienate your customers. I have yet to see anyone praise this as better than the old version. This should tell you everything you need to know. BAD, BAD, BAD. Yahoo you can do MUCH better...

    This new version of outlook just sucks!!!!!! How to get the old format back.
    You cannot take a sent message and move it back to your in box... I do not have enough time to list everything that is frustrating......

    It's the lying and manipulation that upsets me the most. You keep saying that the old version has been discontinued...THAT IS A LIE!!!! I just checked with my friend who "Opted out" before the big switch over and his e-mail is the same old version style. So you still have it on your system and using it. This is so simple & easy to resolve. Let us 5,000+ customers have a second chance to "Opt out". THAT'S IT....Everybody is happy. Or are you gonna lie and remove his too later and say we don't do classic e-mail even after you promised him you won't when he "OPTED OUT"?????

    I DON'T CARE FOR THE SENDER'S ICONS APPEARING WITH EVERY EMAIL. IT IS TOO DISTRACTING AND UNNECESSARY. THE TRASH CAN IS NOT VISIBLE FOR TRASHING EMAILS AFTER (OR BEFORE) READING. RIGHT CLICKING AND HOVERING OVER THE AREA AFTER THE EMAIL DOESN'T ALWAYS BRING THE TRASH CAN BACK INTO VIEW. I LIKE THE BASIC USER-FRIENDLY CLASSIC VERSION MUCH BETTER. CAN I REVERT BACK?

    So is the only way to see the whole body of the email message to pay to remove the ads? This is the worst move ever! I think it's easier to change your email address than to try to read ONE email. So disappointed with this move!

    This "NEW LOOK" is the WORST!! And you have over 5200 UNHAPPY users that all think this "new look" SUCKS!! Do us ALL a favor and give us back the CLASSIC LOOK!!
