Return to Classic Mail
Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

Hello,
I'm struggling to read with the new dark/light mode colour background. Please advise how to revert back to green colour background.

Hi,
Can you please remove the grey background from the Inbox area in the emails? You seem not to consider that people with visual impairment might struggle with a grey background. Could you make it white?
Thanks,
Mariola G. -

When replying to a mail the SEND button should be at the TOP (instead of the bottom).
It is very hard to give feedback. -

Go back to the previous version NOW!!!
The new version is very difficult to navigate.
Yesterday, I was composing a long email and it disappeared, nowhere to be found, not in drafts or deleted items.
I am very annoyed by the new Yahoo mail format -

Go back to the way it was! Changing something is not always an 'improvement' for most of us...and this is no improvement. My screen is all white and so blah! Nothing catches my eye.

all the new looks are positively rediculous. i want to see all the emails in a list, no ads, no special categories, no focus garbage. I want straight up email lists by date, the newest first sorted down to the oldest.
Why is that so hard to the wizards designing all the cutesey things? Just give me the straightforward lists of emails first and let me then choose late if i even want to look at all the cute garbage that all the tech designers want to offer.
Some of us don't want to waste time on the fluff, rather just look at the email lists that i can choose which to address first, second and so forth. -

Love Yahoo Email, thank you so much for it, but greatly prefer the older edition. Please give the opportunity to go back to the classic mail.

omg, just reverted to "old" and the design and functionality is SO CLEAN!!! YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING!!! IT JUST FREAKING WORKS!!!
that new design, with all those lovely rounded corners, absolutely sucks. i don't want to default to "priority," i always want to see "all." give me the **** option! and i shared other feedback about how poorly the new design actually works in an early form, when i was, fortunately, given the option to revert to old. and wow, the contrast in what i can see, what i can do. it's stunning. it wasn't broke, so you broke it. but you slapped on that coat of paint and tried to call it new. wtf?
while the new design has elements of aesthetic appeal, it has no functional appeal.

I DO NOT like the look of the new email format Yahoo is forcing users to adapt to. It looks foreign and austere. If I'm going to have to use an email service that looks nothing like what I've used ever since I started using a computer in the late 2000's, then I might as well get used to another service altogether, like AOL, or some other email service. One that will offer me more storage without charging me for it. You make enough off of me by running ads constantly on AND in my email, that should be enough without demanding I pay for "better" email service (the service you used to offer everyone for free) with larger storage.

The new format is not visually easy to navigate. It is bland. The stacking of emails on the same thread is confusing and time consuming. I would rather scroll through a whole email as instead of the new way it is set up.

The older/classic version of Yahoo! mail was far superior beacuse of the following reasons:
1. It was easier to see which messages were read and which were unread. Currently the interface looks like one giant lump of info with no easy way to discernt what was what. My eyes and head now hurt every time I check my email.
2. Having the starred and read/unread toggle on the left side of the sender made it convenient and far easier to use than the new location.
3. The new tabs system is harder to read and navigate than before.
4. The new version has basic glitches that need to be resolved: sometimes the POV gets stuck in a position and no matter where you scroll, it toggles back to the previous location. This is especially annoying when it pulls you back days in the past when you want to see today's emails. Also the tabs can glitch where you are unable to close them. I have only seen this for searches as opposed to individual emails.
5. The system keeps defaulting back to the Priority view as opposed to remaining at the current selection.Yahoo! took what was an amazing product--far superior to Gmail in my view--and replaced it with a piece of junk. It's really a shame. Bring back the classic mail interface.

I find the new Yahoo Mail very difficult to use. It feels like it was designed with only younger users in mind, without considering the habits and features many of us have relied on for years. For example, I used to be able to see all my folders on the left side of the screen at once. Now I have to search for them, which wastes time.
The automatic segregation of emails (social, priority, etc.) is also unhelpful. Important messages I was waiting for ended up in Spam, while some work-related emails were placed in the Social folder. This makes it easy to miss what really matters.
On top of that, the “Unread” option has disappeared—why was such a useful feature removed? Overall, this redesign feels like a disaster. Why not keep the original version as it was and offer this new one as an alternative for those who prefer it?
