Return to Classic Mail
Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

Please return to class mail. New version is hard to read and doesn't show message previews as easily.

I do not have the option to delete multiple emails at a time. Why did you change it ? This is very frustrating.

GO BACK TO CLASSIC!!!!!! The new version sucks. I don't like that you just changed it without giving me the option to stay with the Classic version. I am very unhappy with the new version and Yahoo

This new version is INTOLERABLE. Doesn't Yahoo user-test their major updates before shoving them down our throats? I can't believe that anyone would prefer this new version.
If Yahoo doesn't allow at least an option to return to the older version soon, then I will be off to gmail, which I hate, or to somewhere else. -

This new version sux. I hate it. My wife hates it. Reading these comments, we're not alone. Classic Yahoo! email has worked for decades. Did you ever stop to think that the reason people are still using Yahoo! email was because they liked the way it worked, before these changes?
You might gain three or four new users with this format, but you're apparently risking thousands of existing users. Wake up Yahoo! At least give us the choice of using the tried and true Classic Yahoo! email we all know and love.

GO BACK TO THE CLASSIC VERSION! It's not easy to see what is read and it highlights the email vs unbolding it. Aslo it keeps deciding who is priority and I keep missing emails - even after I change it to all, it goes back by iteself. The body of the email has so many unwanted design.

What happened to the prior "Switch to basic Mail" and "Go back to the old Yahoo Mail" options? It's obvious from this forum and similar forums online that we, the consumers, are not happy with the new design, but completely revoking the option to return to the previous design is a critical choice which will lead some of us to use a separate emailing service.
I'm open to experimentation of the UI as it is natural for designs to change over time, and some people do like and will like the new designs, but it's not reasonable to neglect those who cannot easily utilize the significant alterations to the design, especially when the components of the new inbox are much more annoying to navigate. For example, why does the list automatically focus on "Priority" emails when there doesn't seem to be a common pattern or theme for prioritized email, some of which are VERY important for work-related updates but not shown within this list? Even if you could specify addresses or topics to be shown within the "Priority" tab, the feature feels unnecessary and unwarranted.
Overall, I'm unhappy with these changes, and I'm more unhappy about no longer being able to revert to the prior design. I understand if you no longer wish to support the previous design or would potentially use this opportunity to provide the Classic design solely through premium, paid options as an attempt to satisfy your users, but I also understand that there are other services available which better meet my needs as well as the needs of many of your users.

I so agree that this new version is absolutely a horrible upgrade. I understand upgrades but this is not an upgrade, this is what I see the developer saying to themselves... " I used to work at Google and was on the Gmail Project. It was so great. I like Gmail the best and I want EVERYONE to use it, so if I design this new upgrade to be more like Gmail, we will get more gmail users to come to us... So If i tweak this and change that.. then I can make it so much more like Gmail and Google. OH, also lets be like microsoft and make sure they can't revert back, because we can't have them using old systems anymore that are "outdated", so with no revert they HAVE to learn it and use it, regardless. " Here is my 2 cents. I have a dam gmail.. It sucks to use to store and sort emails. TRULY. I loved my yahoo mail and this new version is truly an abomination. To be able to truly use it in a working fashion is ridiculous. You are literally making me lose out on job offers and opportunities because of the broken sorting system, let alone the inability to forward an email correctly, or even print out information from an email correctly! You really need to rework this into a much more cohesive and truly useful mail. Let the USER decide how to set up their email. **** I would PAY to get my basic back, permanently! Again who ever designed this, really needs to pull their head out of the hallucination inducing smoke filled cloud they been using for inspiration. Not all of us want to live connected 24/7 and can function in the real world.

It is so hard to see what is new and what has already been read. Highly debating leaving yahoo, but all of my important emails go here.
