Return to Classic Mail
Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

HATE the new format, and it has too many bugs.
Trying to delete old emails, but your email search function SUCKS! I SHOULD be able to search for emails on a date, or a time range, but your search function is VERY limited! -- SOOOOOO, I have to delete emails individually because I cannot search and find emails from 'X' before or during 2020, to try to make it easier to delete emails in groups.
ALSO, sometimes I hit 'Reply' and type a response, but then there was NO 'Send' button to send the email!!!

You could not have made this new version more difficult to use this bad by accident!!! Why not open on the ALL category?? Trying to add a new contact. It will not take it. When deleting emails there is a window that covers half of the trash can making it more difficult to hit. TAKE ME BACK TO THE OLD EMAIL SYSTEM

Switching to the new version has created havoc. My MOST used contacts have been deleted. My husband and I used to be able to toggle between our accounts on the desk top with one pressing of a key, now we have to negotiate and look for it and press several keys to switch accounts.
I suggest going to back to old version. I this situation is not improved I suppose we will have to change our email altogether to something easier. -

Go back to the old Yahoo Mail! The option to click on returning to the old mail disappeared. I hate the new format.

Prefer the previous version of Yahoo email. The new one is too cumbersome and requires too much navigation in order to see what you want

Mail view style has changed from Classic, and I find the Classic layout is much more efficient seeing all the folders as well as being able to view and toggle between two email accounts at a time.
How can I change back to Classic permanently??????

under the new yahoo mail, if I open an e-mail, then I want to look at my calendar, I cannot. I must sign out and sign back in & then go to my calendar. Also, "go back to old yahoo mail" over lays my ability to click on anything else like my contacts so I must sign out again & sign back in to look at my contacts. This glich is driving me crazy.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, MAY I HAVE MY OLD EMAIL BACK. I DO NOT LIKE THIS VERSION AT ALL. I CANNOT DO ANYTHING. I USED TO BE ABLE TO FIND ALL EMAILS FROM ONE SENDER IN ONE PLACE TO EITHER DELETE, MOVE, OR FIND. NOW I HAVE TO GO INTO SEARCH TO TYPE THEIR NAME TO GET IT. SUCKS.

I have had a Yahoo! account since 1996 and have had premium mail (Mail Plus) since 2003. I'm posting here at the advice of Yahoo Customer Care, and I'll tell you exactly what I told them on 8/8/2025 about the newest version of Yahoo Mail.
"The new Yahoo Mail is awful and ugly. It's obvious that you're trying to make it more like Gmail, which I can't stand. I can't see my middle initial in my account name. I can't see my settings bar to the right. I don't want to see all my starred messages to the right. I want all of my inbox messages to be seen as default--not priority messages or any of that other nonsense. I pay $40.00/yr for this. I deserve better. Please reply."
While waiting for a reply from Yahoo!, I found a way to make sure my middle initial was displayed, and I reverted to the older version of Yahoo Mail. When Customer Care replied on 8/6/2025, I emailed back asking how long the old interface would be available. Customer Care replied to me on 8/11/2025, stating "Unfortunately, we don't have the exact information till when you can use the classic version of Yahoo Mail.[...]Please be informed that there will come a time that the new Yahoo Mail version will be the default version."
To repeat, the new Yahoo Mail is too much like Gmail, but worse. If I wanted a Gmail-style email account as my primary email account, I wouldn't be paying $40.00/year for Yahoo Mail Plus. I hope that Yahoo! is not just soliciting ideas for the sake of alleged "due diligence" with the actual intent of disregarding them.

Please don't forces changes on us if we don't want it.
I tried to tolerate the new/improved email for a few days, HATE IT!
If you're really interested in improving: Let me sort my lists alphabetically. BUT NO! You can't design the code that'll do that simple task.
I wish every week my email company - - that I now pay $5/month - - cared about what the customers wanted. But it doesn't. There are a dozen ways that I know, but the most obvious new one: You won't let us see other customer's feedback.
