Search by Sender

One of the key features I use quite frequently is the "Search by Sender". I get lots of emails from specific vendors like Rumble, Zillow, and other vendors that send me notifications. In the past, I click on the "..." and I can select Search Sender, and I can find all my emails. With the new interface, you have to open the email and select "Search Sender". Why move this function to an actual email? For EMAIL management, this capability should be a mailbox feature, not a specific email feature.

    Hi Phil, thank you and to everyone who requested "Search by Sender" who listened and brought this back by popular request. You can now search by sender in many ways. You can hover over the sender's profile icon in your Inbox and a spyglass icon will appear that says "Search by sender" from there you can click it and search by that sender.
    You can even do this when reading the email. Looking at your message, if you hover over the sender's profile icon, the spyglass icon will appear. If you are having any issues, please create a new thread and provide as much details as you can. Thanks again!

    is there not a way to SEARCH BY SENDER.? That would be helpful to remove all those I DONT WANT! TY

    There are many filter and search options that have changed. Now instead of searching on sender, you now can only search on subject line. This is very frustrating. Usually when changes are made it is to improve the service. I would like to be able to search on sender, and I would also like to be able to sort by sender. This makes it much easier to delete all messages from a specific sender. PLEASE bring that back! Thank you!

    I used to be able to click on the three vertical dots to the right of a message and search by sender, now only subject is available.

    What happened to the feature that allowed me to search by sender address? It was the most helpful and convenient way that I was able to clean up my inbox. Please return the feature.

    The new Yahoo email used to have a "search by sender" option, now it appears to be "search by subject". Can you bring back search by sender? I used to use this all the time to help organize my messages.

    I found the capacity to search by sender very helpful, but it has been removed. Please restore search by sender.
