Continue scrolling to load next email
I am really struggling with the "continue scrolling to load next email". I almost can't reply to any email. How can I turn this off? Thanks!

Scrolling down and not being able to read the bottom of an email because it is auto-advancing to the next email has got to be the second most annoying thing I've ever encountered in an email program. And there's no sign of it in any of the SETTINGS to turn it off. WTF y'all??? Please eliminate this infuriating bug.

I want an OFF switch for this new process that scrolls me to the next email if I scroll down too far or fast. Some of the newsletters I read have content I want to see near the bottom of the mail received, and I seem to be getting tossed to the next message before I can scroll down that far. Please make it stop or give me a control in mail settings that I can disable this unwanted and unnecessary feature.

Please disable the "continue scrolling to load next email feature" it is annoying, and cannot be disabled by toggle off the dynamic viewing feature in settings.

I can't read the bottom of me emails because it automatically switches to the next email. The message saying "keep scrolling," or something like that, happens so fast, and I don't see a way to disable this. I looked in Settings but can't find a way to turn it off. I thought it might have been Dynamic message, but that didn't change it. Super annoying! I

Turn it off. I want to read entire email, then decide if I delete, move, or leave it. I now can't see the end of an email, then have to go back to inbox and delete the emails that are partially read.

When I scroll down a message to the bottom to make sure I did not miss something, it gets automagically replaced by the next message. I find that unhelpful and disruptive. At the very least, there should be a way to turn this feature off.

I cannot find a way to turn off the "feature" which scrolls to the next message in the inbox if you reach the bottom of a chain of messages. I personally find this feature to be annoying and unintuitive because it's not common across other email platforms (or if it is, they must not automatically opt users into it). Additionally, it's very sensitive, rather than requiring a more intentional scroll to move on to view the next message. The dumb thing with this feature is it only works in one direction: down. Once I've accidentally navigated to the next chain of messages, I can't scroll up to return to the original. I hope that you will allow this feature to be disabled if not remove it entirely. If I'm missing the setting where I can turn it off, please advise.

Currently, as I scroll down my email it automatically scrolls to my next email without my consent. I can't even finish reading my current email without the auto-scroll being triggered. I would recommend rolling this feature back, or letting users toggle it on/off in the settings. Thanks!

There seems to be a new feature that automatically loads the next message when I scroll to the bottom of the current message. This is a very annoying feature, I can't actually get to the bottom of a long email to read it, it keeps jumping forward. How do I turn it off?

When viewing an email, before I scroll to the bottom of the message, I see a "Loading next email..." message. As I continue scrolling to try to read to the bottom of the original message, the next message loads in its place. I'm using the trackpad to scroll on a MacBook (macOS 15.6.1).
I don't want the next message to be displayed while I am trying to scroll to the bottom of the current message. I would like to be able to disable this feature.

There is currently no way to TURN OFF the new "continue scrolling to read next email" feature for the web interface. That means Yahoo mail will no longer allow you to go to the bottom of long emails, which means you cannot unsubscribe to things - the unsubscribe link is ALWAYS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE EMAIL. You have to allow us to TURN OFF that process.

I just noticed that when I almost reach the bottom of an email I'm reading, it loads the next email. Please, stop that. I couldn't finish reading the email I wanted to read. I'm rather vexed trying to get to that last bit of an email, only for yahoo to load the next email before I can finish reading the one I started on.
I liked it much better when I could just click on the words "next", "previous", or go back into the inbox to see the other emails. -

Please, please delete the new feature of Click here to jump to next email. I'm still trying to read a long email or hit the send button and this Click here stops me from doing what I want to do. Definitely not an improvement. I can't even get to an attachment before this stupid feature jumps in! Please get rid of this "improvement."

This just started, but I noticed when I'm reading a long email and I'm scrolling through it, it advances to the next email, and I'm not done reading the one I was on. So frustrating! I tried to find a way to stop or disable that feature, but there's not an option. So I have to go back several times and open up the email I was reading to finish it before it advances to the next email. I hope my description makes sense?

There seems to have been a change to me email as of 9/26/25. Now when I scroll to the bottom of my email, the next email in my inbox opens. I didn't realize what happened at first, but slowing down and scrolling again I caught a prompt at the bottom of the window saying that if I continued to scroll the next email would be open.
I HATE this feature and find it very frustrating as it is advancing to the next email when I don't want it to. Trying to get to the very bottom of an email message without opening the next one is challenging.
I have tried searching for the setting to turn this off and can't find it. I even did a Google search and the AI overview (unreliable I know) called the feature "Auto-Advance" and said turning it off could be found under Settings > More Settings >Viewing Email. While those exact options don't match what's in my email, I had previously looked under Viewing Email and I see nothing that talks about scrolling to open an email or auto advancing to the next email.
Please provide directions for disabling this feature. It is extremely frustrating.

why can't I read to the end of a message before it skips to the previous one??????????????? Please fix the "next/previous" feature.

Give us a way to OPT OUT of the automatic opening of next message while we're scrolling thru/reading a message. It's ridiculous!! And marks the message as "read" when we aren't ready to read it yet.

I can't scroll read to the bottom of my email without it moving to the next email. I've disabled Dynamic Messaging in settings but the function still occurs. Please fix or inform how to disable.

The new email autoscroll feature is an abomination. I would really like to see the last part of all of my emails without having to jump through hoops. Make it an easy to override option or get rid of it.
