Keeping older emails in the inbox
I don't have an idea, I have a complaint. I had years' worth of "read" emails that I had saved in my inbox & all of a sudden they were completely deleted & erased from my inbox. I don't know why that was done, but those were emails that were a) sentimental b/c the senders are deceased; b) very important for my financing and c) contained personal information that I needed for recent & future transactions. They are all gone & I can't find them in any of the other folders. Please leave the inboxes alone even if the emails are older! I can't order my kids' school pictures b/c you guys decided to completely empty out my inbox & now I have no way to retrieve the links for their pictures!!! Even all my bills were erased! Why was this done?? I'm so livid & also heartbroken b/c I'll never get my items back!!!

Hi Gretchen, is this an account you access every day? Or had it been a year since you last logged in? We do deactivate accounts if there's been no activity for 365 days and we give numerous warnings to your alternative accounts that you have on your accounts. We recommend contacting our CC team at help.yahoo.com. They manage account and sign in issues and they have the tools to help. Thanks!
