Fix the compose message window!!!
Comcast customer, now on the Yahoo platform here.
When I compose an email, I cannot get a cursor to appear in the message body window unless I click on Bold or something, then my entire message is unfortunately in Bold. I have learned that I am not alone with this issue, but so far the solutions listed online are not available to me, like trying to find settings and go to a Basic Mail option. I don't see a proper settings link, or icon where it is shown by others, and the one settings menu I did find, was missing the option for Basic......
This is just dumb. I don't know much regarding coding, but this seems like a stupid error to allow within the system. I am using the Chrome browser, no extensions are added or enabled. I suppose I could try Edge, but let's be real here.....
Please fix this, or provide a reasonable workaround quickly.
Also, as a Comcast customer, that was essentially forced onto this platform, I'm decidedly unhappy to see Ad's posted within my inbox messages. The sidebar ****, I understand because ya gotta support the platform somehow, but I did not have these frustrating Ads on my Comcast email platform, so I am gonna start being really annoying to both Yahoo, and Comcast support until we can get rid of those. I was promised a better experience while saving my messages and keeping my email address, yet everything is worse. Don't try to spin any of these things into a positive because I'm not that gullible.
So in summary, please fix the compose message body section ASAP, and please either delete the Ad's that pop up within the inbox list, or move them somewhere that they won't interfere with reading messages, or get Comcast to pony up the ridiculous upgrade fee to remove Ad's altogether.
No way would I give up money each month for a broken email platform.
This is embarrassing and I will begin moving my business to a Gmail account no matter how many update emails I need to write, just to get away from this flawed system.
