Stop trying to sort the emails
I am so tired of the new Yahoo mail. The system has this idea it knows what how to sort my mail. It automatically puts me in "Primary" when I'm looking at emails. I have all these emails to look at, and the system is only shows me a tiny few, I want to see all the emails because I know what is important and what is not. Stop making Primary a default place to start looking at mail. You need to put an option where you choose the default on how your mail is sorted. Even when I'm away and try to look at my mail on the phone app I never get to see everything, the app doesn't let you see but a handful of messages, so when I get to my computer I have hundreds of emails that did not show up on my phone.
