Do NOT change settings
I am a tech guy in cybersecurity and so this is not coming from someone who is unfamiliar with how change management of software updates work.
Your latest update CHANGED my personal settings to CONVERSATION for email linking. I HATE that setting and yet your update to my yahoo email account (.att address) changed it without my permission.
My "Idea" is that you leave PERSONAL SETTINGS ALONE when you make UI/design updates to the web portal.
Your "enhancements" led me to accidentally delete an ENTIRE EMAIL threads (which is why I have ALWAYS DISABLED the 'conversation' setting) as a result of your incompetence change management process for updates.
For example, I went into my DRAFT folder and removed a couple of drafts that I was not going to use, and then THE WHOLE EMAIL THREAD WAS REMOVED COMPLETELY.
I had to submit a RESTORE REQUEST for 4 DAYS (to ensure I get all the emails from the thread because they are CRITICAL). So I'll have to sift through the junk emails over the 4 DAYS, just to get the critical emails that I need. All because of your INCOMPETENT CHANGE MANAGEMENT PROCESS.
So PLEASE update you change management process to ensure MY PERSONAL SETTINGS are NOT changed when you implement your "enhancements" to your UI/design.
