Hello Yahoo Support,
I have experienced a serious security issue with my Yahoo Mail account. Twice now, when I clicked the checkbox to delete an email (without opening it), the box contained an advertisement. As soon as I clicked to delete, it attempted to access my PC.
This means hackers are embedding ads directly into the delete checkbox, so that when users try to remove unknown or suspicious emails, it triggers unauthorised access attempts.
Please investigate and fix this urgently. The delete function should never expose users to potential hacking risks.
