Why would I care about sender icons? Taking up unnecessary, valuable space. Remove. This is so ridiculous. Please name me one user that appreciates this change.

I like to quickly go through my inbox to delete unnecessary email or things that I am not interested in at the moment, but don't want to unsubscribe from. I would love it if the avator was not covering the checkbox. It may seem like a small thing, but it creates a hesitation before each click and when I am trying to click on a couple dozen email quickly, it is an irritation. Thanks for considering this!

What ever are these circles for? Pretty useless.
But bring back COLOR THEMES? YES!!!! Bring back the color themes. I'm wigged out by so much WHITE SPACE!! NO LINES!! It's like being in snow blizzard or a sterile prison cell.
C'mon Yahoo, you can do better.

PLEASE give us the option to remove the avatars/icons that are next to the senders' names. They are VERY DISTRACTING and look messy. The mailbox is now quite stressful to look at. They take away from the modern clean lines you are trying to achieve with the redesign, Those of us who would like to have the mailbox look clean and simple can have that option, and those who like the avatars can keep them.

Get rid of the little icons and bring back the more basic lines.

Option to not have logos next to the sender. Or remove initials if no logo. The closer you can get this version to the old email format the better as I very much liked this over gmail. More efficient use of the limited space on my screen to show as many emails as possible without the superfluous visuals. But if you can't make these changes, I will find a provider that has the layout that work for me.

The Yahoo Classic email appearance was far better looking & easier to read. The first thing I seek is to remove the sender icons....they are unnecessary & are clutter to me.

I need to be able to see how many unread emails are in my inbox. There used to be a counter badge on the inbox icon, but not anymore.

Please provide an option to TURN OFF the sender icons in the inbox. They make things much too cluttered.

I don't like the profile images in the new Yahoo mail; it distracts me each time sign into my Yahoo account. Could you provide a way to turn off the profile images if one prefers not to have it? Apart from the problem with the profile images, there are other issues with the new yahoo mail. The fact is, the layout of the old Classic Yahoo mail is far better for me.

Why has Yahoo decided to impose the new mail design on users without providing the option for people to choose based on their preferences? I am just curious. Why not simply give people the option to choose which design they prefer? How does giving people that option affect Yahoo's operations? Does giving people that option have any negative impact on Yahoo? I am curious. I do not think I am the only one who prefers the old Yahoo Mail design. I am sure the management of Yahoo is well aware that there are scores of Yahoo customers who prefer the old design. The truth is, the old design is simply the best!

Please REMOVE AVATARS! They are so distracting! I HATE the new YAHOO mail. I have used my yahoo account since the mid-1990s, but I will likely delete this account (and my payment for Plus) if this look remains. Why did you remove the classic look???

Please, let users remove stupid circle icons in front of inbox list - it's VERY DESTRUCTING AND CLUTTERING!

1) The sender icon in the inbox list view makes it feels cluttered. Please provide a way in the settings to either show the icon or not.

2) The message preview gets mixed up with the message subject in the inbox list view. Please give more space or change the font (or font size) of the message preview to separate it out from the subject.

PLEASE get rid of the avatars or allow me to get rid of them under settings menu. This current format of showing an avatar when the Sender is written out in plain English right behind the avatar does nothing but clutter up the entire site. It gives me a headache to look at the site. Come on guys, stop with the nonsense and just give people a CLEAN format to read their emails. It's not rocket science just common sense.

Please allow the ability to get rid of the contact circle next to contact. It takes up to much space on the screen and just adds visual clutter.

I hate the new update with the colored circle icon before each name. I don't need a little picture to go with each email. I want to be able to get rid of the circle icons. There is too much color and it's distracting when I'm trying to look through my email. It feels chaotic and busy. I can read. I don't need a picture, too. Also, all of the email now is in one big list. I need to easily see email sent today, yesterday, Tuesday, last week. Yes, I can see the date on the right hand side, but it's not as convenient as it was. I pay for this email service and I want it back the way it was. Why change what was working perfectly??
