The new version of yahoo email makes it much harder (imo) to immediately determine what is an add and what is an email. Part of that is that the little checkbox present in classic yahoo email is now only visible if you mouse over the email, because it's hidden behind an unnecessary little graphic that displays info on who the email is from.

This also makes it more difficult to quickly delete emails that you don't need, because it's not immediately apparent what's an email and what's an ad, and you have to wait for the little checkbox to appear when you mouse over the email before you can actually click on the little checkbox.

I cannot read my emails there is so much clutter on the screen now. I am going to have to default to my phone to be able to delete and manage my inbox. This is ridiculous to follow iphone and not ask the consumer their thoughts before making a unilateral decision. you have to provide customization options just like outlook to allow the user to be efficient in reviewing emails.

Hi Shelia, we do have the ability to disable or change these to checkboxes in the app. Therefore, there is mention of adding this ability to desktop settings as well. We will share this with our team. Thanks.
