Go back to the old format.
This new layout is terrible. It may look sleek but functionaly I don't like it. Why can't we use the old layout. Give us a choice.
I have been with yahoo mail for more than 30 years. I thinking if going to gmail.

I hate this new forced version that pushes gamification and AI down our throats. If I wanted this, I would switch to Google. Bring Back Basic.

Need easier access to a basic / lightweight version. New / "improved" mail not meeting my needs. - a Paid Y Mail + subscriber for longer than I care to admit.

I should be allowed to use the version of yahoo mail that I like. The new version looks like you're trying for a Gmail interface, and I hate Gmail which is the reason I've been a long time yahoo mail user.

Yahoo Mail's New Layout Makes Emails Difficult to Read
I have tolerated Yahoo Mail's increasingly cluttered layout for years, but the changes made today have made it impossible to continue.
The actual email reading window is far too small. On a large desktop screen, a significant portion of the screen is taken up by unused wasted space, leaving a narrow area for the actual email.
This is a serious usability problem. Email is primarily for reading emails. The reading area should be the most important part of the interface, not the smallest.
Please provide an option to:
• Allow users to adjust the relative width of the message list and reading pane.
• Remove or collapse unnecessary wasted space at the top and side
• Make better use of the available screen width for displaying the actual email.
I do not want to switch email providers or use third-party email software just to be able to read my Yahoo emails comfortably. Please fix the Yahoo Mail reading experience or give users a setting that allows them to customize.
I have put up with the increasingly poor layout for years. Today's change is what finally made the reading experience unacceptable. -

This version is not as friendly and easy to see the email and all information, for example I do not have information of how many emails I have and how many are unread, etc. Please restore the old version. Thank you, Giselle

I don't know if someone thinks it's cute to change what people have gotten used to and make them learn the new way of doing things. Older people don't need it or want it, my sister-in-law just saw the new layout and said "Dang e-mail all changed. At this age, I want sameness in my life." If someone wants to change back let them, she's 86.

The new interface is ******* the eyes. It is cluttered. It looks like gmail. I likes the old email interface that was easy to read.
Please give us the option for a plain inbox, I wish I had the option to go back to the old mail. How cone I don't? -

Please return to previous font and layout. This font is harder to read, smaller, and bold/unread is less differentiated from reglar/read.

I CANNOT MOVE THE EMAILS TO MY FOLDERS! (YES, I KNOW WHAT ALL CAPS MEANS!) I HAVE MANY FOLDERS; WHEN I TRY TO TYPE THE NAME OF THE FOLDER, IT STOPS AT ONE LETTER, AND I CAN'T INPUT ANY MORE! THEN IT DOESN'T EVEN LOOK FOR THE FOLDER! I HAVE AN OLD, SLOW COMPUTER THAT THE OLD VERSION WORKED FINE ON (THOUGH IT WAS SLOW). I'M PRETTY SURE YOU WON'T READ THIS POST. THERE MUST HAVE BEEN A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO WANTED THE OLDER VERSION FOR YOU TO MAKE A COMMENT ON! GIVE US BACK THE OLD VERSION, PLEASE! MY NOT ASKING FOR MY EMAIL, THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN RESPOND TO ME, IF YOU EVEN WOULD.
