Go back to the old format.
This new layout is terrible. It may look sleek but functionaly I don't like it. Why can't we use the old layout. Give us a choice.
I have been with yahoo mail for more than 30 years. I thinking if going to gmail.

Hello,
I hope you're doing well.
Since the recent Yahoo Mail update, I've noticed that the "Create Filter" option no longer appears in the right-click menu when I right-click an email.
I used this feature regularly, as it made it quick and easy to create filters and organise incoming messages into folders. It was a really useful part of my workflow, and I miss having it available.
Would you please consider restoring this option in a future update? I think it would be a valuable improvement for users who rely on filters to keep their inbox organised.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read my feedback, and for everything you do to help make Yahoo Mail such a valuable service!
With best wishes,
Naomi

When hovering over a pic pasted in compose mode it used to bring up a pop-up menu to set the size of the image (small, large etc). It doesn't seem to be working in the recently up-dated version. It would be helpful improvement if it still worked.

The Filters don't work. I tried every variation possible. Comas, no comas, contains, begins, from, subject, content. I tried everything to remove some repetitive SPAM content and they keep poping on my SPAM folder, instead of going to the trash, like I costumized. On the other way, mails from the electricity company and others from legit sources, are going to the Trash folder. I checked to see if I have a filter or a word that could filter these messages...and there isn't. I'm so mad, having to check the spam and trash folder constantly.

It would be nice to be able to resize pictures on emails. We used to be able to do this by clicking on the corner and dragging to desired size. That can't be done with current version.

Hi. Where has the clear calendar view that has been in Yahoo Mail for years gone??
I am not going to pay for this update unless you return the old calendar view.
Kind regards, Jarmo Niemi -

This isn’t a new feature request — it already existed as a beautifully simple option called “Filter messages like this.” One click. Zero drama. Peak UX.
Now? Creating a filter feels like onboarding to a new SaaS product:
Settings → More Settings → Filters → Add new filter → Name it → Define criteria → Realize you forgot the email address → Go back → Copy it → Start over → Pick a folder → Save → Contemplate your life choices.
By the end, I’ve basically completed a side quest that I never wanted.
Please bring back a quick, developer‑sanity‑preserving “Create filter from this message” option in the three‑dot More menu. My wrists, my time, other users, and my patience all thank you.

Give us back the option to build a filter directly from emails again. It is a massive pain ********** to build each filter from scratch. This is making me want to migrate all of my email addresses to other servers.

The six step process that requires me to copy an email address and navigate to a list of ALL filters and then manually enter a dozen pieces of info in order for the app to save is ridiculous! Before we could right click on the displayed address in the inbox and direct the filter to the existing or new folder without having to reprogram the whole app.

Scrolling to the top of the email list jumps you back to the middle of it, same if you scroll to the end of the email list, jumps to the middle of it. Viewing read and un-read email made almost impossible in dark mode, in day mode is 5% better but still very hard to follow them. Instead of making it more user-friendly, this becomes more again user!

Performance is degrading day by day, now the email list from the Inbox tab jumps when and where it wants, with no reasoning. Lately it jumps every time I try to scroll either direction and it always jumps to the middle of the list.
On top of that the latest update with all the email being highlithed the same, no difference between the read and unread ones like before, only a blue point in front of the unread ones is incredibly awful. This makes the whole experience worse, harder to use and delaying every action! -

Return your calendar back to the last version so we can see all of our appointment information when we view and print the calendar. New version is not helpful at all

Unbelievably annoying new 'function', which means when you scroll to the top it doesn't stop at the top, it scrolls back down again. I want to be able to see the latest emails and instead i have to crawl incredibly slowly to the top hoping it doesn't scroll me back down. I don't know where the latest email is so quickly scroll up using the mouse wheel only to have the navigation scroll me back down is very very frustrating. Its making me consider moving everything over to Gmail.

Why have red/yellow green flag notations at all when they don't show up on my calendar page? And why can't I see all of events that I've entered onto a certain date? I use the flags to help find certain events when I need to remind myself of something. And I don't want to go through extra steps to view the whole day, regardless if was in the past or the future. In short, IMO, the current format sucks 💩.

Yahoo calendar did not provide any information of transition to the current calendar. Therefore all my to-do-lists with needed information are gone and not accessible. Also the new calendar does not offer any of the organization tools the older version had like showing type of entry i.e. work, birthday, doctor, phone appt, color code, etc. Also I can no longer at-a-glance see what is "free" time "busy" or "tentative". I would give it only 1 star. Very poor design and user-features are a disappointment. I've used Yahoo calendar for years and switching to a more desirable calendar would present a monumental task. Make the older version accessible again.

I like having Federal holidays on my calendar but lately I get state holidays from states I am not in or care about. I can't seem to get rid of them except to turn off all holidays.

When the email changed it took away the colors from calendars. I found you can see them, but one must click on every event.
The purpose of the colors was so one could see at a glance the Urgency of an Event.
PLEASE RETURN THE COLORS to the Calendar.
