Go back to previous layout
everything looks the same and it is hard to distinguish between the emails. When I hit a check box the whole column moves and is extremely annoying.
This is the worst email experience that I have ever had.

Why did you have to reinvent the wheel? I have been using Yahoo Mail for the past 29 years. It was great the way it was. I didn't switch to Gmail, or any other third party email interfaces, because I was happy with the way Yahoo Mail was. I was so happy with it that when the unlimited storage was removed, I became a paid subscriber (Yahoo Mail +). But some stupid person wanting to show that they have worked changed the way Yahoo Mail looks, and no button to switch back to Classic or Basic. Please bring back the option of view as Yahoo Mail Classic/Basic. Let your paid customer make the decision of switching to the new look or not.

I hate the new design. I definitely didn't like the categories - they were going to make me miss emails. Turned that off. I don't want any AI. Turned that off. I want more control over the appearance. I hate this overly white-washed view with not much contrast and I can't read very well on dark mode. So I need the ability to adjust the colors and contrast myself.

Unfortunately, if you do not see the "Go Back" button you cannot go back. We really hope you'll try the new experience!... well if you keep doing this you lose your customers and losing your jobs, either make it look classic and OK or you go to the trash because new **** ideas are just ********

I do NOT like the new, complicate version of Yahoo Mail. I hate it. I want my old version of Yahoo Mail. How do I switch back. I never asked for this newer version to begin with. I just logged onto my Yahoo Mail account few days ago....and the New Version was installed. Again, I did NOT ask for it. I want my old version of Yahoo Mail. How do I cancer this new version, and go back to my "much simpler" Older Version??

I've had the old UI for going on 30 years. The new UI sucks. It looks like a mobile UI pushed to the desktop or something designed for/by children.

I hate this new version more than anything in the world right now. The scroll does not work, when I click on a box to delete it actually marks or unmarks the box below it. Then layout is horrible and difficult to read. This is frustrating enough that I've had yahoo for probably 20+ years but will be looking for a new email. One that works.

I want the old mailbox back. I do not like my mail read, then summarized, then given to me. I do not like the GMAIL approach that gives me emails in categories. I want the old yahoo mailbox. If I wanted G mail, I would use Gmail. PLEASE GIVE ME THE YAHOO MAIL I LOVED.

The new Yahoo Mail is awful. It is slow, clunky, slow, confusing, slow, terrible. There was nothing wrong with the old Yahoo Mail. If nothing else, let a person decide which they want to use, either the new horrible version or the old version that was like wearing a comfy sweater on a cold winter day.

How can you improve? Easy. LET US GO BACK. I already quit using one Yahoo account because of this horrible design update. I'm not looking forward to getting rid of an account I've had SINCE THE 90s because someone decided they need to tinker with the look, but if I can't get a legible version on my desktop than I just may have to give this one up too. Look, if people want dark mode or faux GMail or whatever, more power to them. But don't force it on everyone. This update is a really bad idea.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL UPDATE THIS WEEK! TOTALLY UGLY FORMAT, DIFFICULT TO SEE, NO COMPRESSED VIEW, MORE WIDE-OPEN EMPTY SPACE. UGLY FUGLY AND UNUSABLE. GOING TO CHECK OUT GMAIL INSTEAD

The new email platform is terrible. The bubble style for inbox makes it difficult to view with the hovering "unsubscribe" in the way. Additionally the actual email subject matter is too small to see due to the frame leading to a larger advertisement section. Here's a thought, go back to the previous platform view, as it worked. I've had my email for 26 years and am no stranger to "improvements" but Yahoo creators, you still can't get this right.

I hate this new Yahoo look and I hate that we DO NOT have a choice to go back to the basic look. For us older people, the Basic was better

The new e-mail is very busy. You went crazy with the ads and the AI. It needs to be stripped back. This is personal e-mail, not business e-mail. I don't need to see calendars or contacts here. In Outlook, you can remove those things that aren't needed and you can still use the classic view. You can also mark multiple items for spam, to delete, etc . We seem to have lost that functionality with the upgrade.

This new user interface is slow and hard to select emails to delete. I select an email to delete and it automatically unselects it at times. The pages load slower and I end up opening the wrong email. Overall I do not care for this new version as it currently stands.
