This is a TECHNICAL BUG in the New Yahoo Mail, not a feature request.

New incoming emails appear in my UNREAD folder/view, but they do NOT appear in my INBOX.

When I open one of these emails, it is marked as Read and therefore disappears from the Unread view. Because the email never appeared in my Inbox, I can no longer locate or access it after reading it.

Reproducible sequence:

New email arrives.
Email appears in Unread.
Email does NOT appear in Inbox.
I open/read the email.
It disappears from Unread.
It is still not in Inbox and is no longer accessible.

This is causing received email to become inaccessible and potentially lost. Please escalate this report to the New Yahoo Mail engineering team.

I have screenshots documenting the problem and have previously attempted to report it through YahooCare without receiving assistance.
