I WANT MY OLD FORMAT BACK ASAP! It is not an option for me for some reason in settings! Please help.

This has got to be one of the dumbest marketing decisions I have ever seen. FORCING long-time customers to use the new version of Yahoo Mail. It is so BAD!! The visuals are horrible: layout, functionality, and the distracting ad box displaying worthless upgrades. NO ONE LIKES THE NEW VERSION!!! Quit being hard-headed, and actually listen to your customers' feedback and allow the switch back!

Yahoo switched my email to the new version 1 week ago. I keep trying to use it but my computer is old, 2009, and it doesn’t support this new version. It keeps freezing and I keep clearing cache, closing and reopening my email and restarting my computer. It doesn’t matter what I do or which browser I use, it doesn’t work like it was with basic mail. I don’t have the option under setting to switch back. I am old and cannot purchase another computer, I just need yahoo to give me the option to switch back to basic mail in my settings. I really need my email which I would access everyday, many times a day for doctors, hospitals and all my business. Please, I really need to switch back to basic mail due to old and slow laptop, freezing and my connection isn’t great with what I have. Please, add to my settings, I knew my computer would support this new version and I don’t know what else to do. Chat said maybe this would be an option sending feedback to get the basic version added back to my account. I have had this email for years and I am old and really would like it back so I can use it. Since clearing cache, restarting my computer doesn’t work. Today, I couldn’t even check the boxes to delete emails. I just get the ‘little hand’ that doesn’t do anything. I had a friend come over with her laptop and she didn’t have a problem on my wifi and accessing my email, however, I can’t have her come over all the time and I can’t buy a new laptop due to old and on a fixed income. I try to get her here so I can access some emails, but please help me by giving me the access to switch back to basic mail. Please, please add this to switch in my settings to get back to basic mail. I am so sad and lost without this. I have been trying, please help me. This is too frustrating. Thank you.

Download Yahoo Mail from Google Play Store on Android phone. Works fine. The updates are pushed out that break things. Lists no longer work. Autocomplete of email addresses no longer works. This happens when an update implements Tabs and puts the little pencil to write an email in a black box at the bottom of the screen.

Please fix this!

Why do you keep changing the email format. PLEASE LEAVE IT ALONE!! The old one was fine. Time to switch to Gmail I guess.

Every day that I use this new mail on my laptop I dislike it more and more. Please give us an option to go back to the classic view. This new view is difficult to navigate. It sucks

Don't update without giving us the option. I hate the new email.

This new version is terrible. It's slow and clunky and slows my computer down. It takes longer to check my mail and delete mail, and doing everything on it just takes longer. The classic version was so much better, faster, and cleaner. Also, it's an email program, who cares about streaks and things of that nature. Just let it be an email program.

When will the old yahoo be back.. This new one really sucks. I really dislike it and want the old one back.

I will delete my account of over 20 years if I'm stuck with this stupid new format that I didn't want!!!!!
