Go back to previous layout
everything looks the same and it is hard to distinguish between the emails. When I hit a check box the whole column moves and is extremely annoying.
This is the worst email experience that I have ever had.

PLEASE LET ME KEEP USING THE OLD LAYOUT. All you've done is make it more like gmail, which I don't want. You can't see as many emails in the list, it's organized in a way I don't want to use, it was perfect before.

I hate the new bubbly set-up.
I had everything properly organized and now the new set-up ****** everything up and I've lost track of where I kept my things.
Disgusting. -

Seriously. There are no redeeming qualities on the new format. Literally nothing good. It's confusing and ugly as sin.

Please change the email homepage back to the way it was- the new system is ugly and confusing. It makes our jobs much harder when we can't find a single thing in the inbox. Even the Night Mode is hideous- please change it back.

Absolutely hate the updated version of Yahoo mail. I do not need AI at all in my email. I do not like how I can no longer preview attachments on the right side of the screen while still being able to view the email.

Your offer to “try” the new interface is extremely misleading. “Try” implies an ability to switch back if you don’t like it. Not being able to switch back is deceitful. Bad form, Yahoo. Will never trust any of your offers again.

Before: I could see at a glance whether an account had new mail.
Now: I have to click the account button in the bottom-left corner to check whether I have new mail!
Before: I could see only the email subjects, which was great Pretty Good Privacy!,
Now: A serious privacy concern! I can see the beginning of each email message without even opening it.
Before: There were no Primary, Offers, Social or Newsletter categories. Just a simple, efficient inbox list.
Now: Buttons everywhere! If I select “Primary” instead of “All,” I could miss important mails, just as I might miss emails sent to Spam. This is highly misleading!
Before: The Primary, Offers, Social and Newsletter categories were not displayed. The interface was much cleaner.
Now: They are all there, with no option to remove them, making the interface cluttered!
Before: The star icon was on the left of each email, where it was easy to see and intuitive to use. After all, people generally read from left to right.
Now: The star is on the right?!?! It is harder to spot, crammed in with other icons. Messy and poorly designed!
Before: Two contrasting colours made it easier to focus: a dark background surrounding a light-coloured email list.
Now: Everything is white, making the interface look cluttered and harder to navigate.
My question is simple: Why replace a clear, neat, intuitive and efficient email system with one that is cluttered, inefficient, confusing and far less intuitive?
I simply don't understand this decision. At the very least, users should have the option to switch back to the old version!
Thank you for your time.

I asked AI if users liked the New Yahoo Email. This is the reply:
No, many users do not like the new Yahoo Mail design and have expressed heavy frustration online.User Complaints and Reactions
• Negative Feedback: Thousands of users have taken to social media, forums like Reddit, and Facebook to complain that the updated interface is difficult to navigate, cluttered, and slow.
• Missing Classic View: A major point of anger is that Yahoo has hidden or removed the easy option to revert back to the classic or basic view.
• AI and Priority Inboxes: While Yahoo markets the redesign as cleaner and smarter with AI-powered summaries and priority tabs, many users view these features as unwanted clutter rather than helpful tools.
• Account Lockouts: Recent reviews also highlight frustrations with forced phone verifications, lost email history, and unhelpful support chat. -

You do NOT have to resemble Gmail... the additional functionality is not ideal for me. As a seasoned Classic (old) Yahoo mail user it works efficiently for me without all of the proposed enhancements.... If you insist on doing away with my currently preferred version of Yahoo mail, then I will just move over to Gmail and be done with Yahoo. Yahoo has been my go to email for decades, after unceremoniously dumping ATT.net. Thank you for your consideration

Your new Yahoo Mail sucks. First, you removed my ability to sort by Sender, and now I can't find my contact lists. Why do you make changes without thinking about the negative impact on the users?
