NEED the highlighting it is too hard to navigate through the read and to distinguish between deletions and ones you want to keeep, You are looking like gmail but a bad one that is lacking in what is needed to read and use emails. Get rid of the AI - leave that as an option for those that want it, I DO NOT, bring back the highlighting of clicked on emails I don't mind the similarities to gmail but having the stars on the right at first sucks, no highlighting of emails SUCKS and I could go on but those are the two primary at first use. I'm sure there is more. OH also migrating to a new form of email right before the holidays is a really bad move. No one wants to go through all the times it takes to get use to a new way of doing things when they are already busy with way too much for holiday season from Halloween to New Years. Should have been done at beginning of summer. People need consistency at this time of year, not a headache trying to navigate a new email form
