I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the recent Yahoo Calendar redesign. I do not like any of it. The new layout is a massive step backward in usability, accessibility, and efficiency.
The most frustrating regressions include:
• The lack of grid lines: Without clear borders, the calendar looks like a washed-out wall of text, making it incredibly difficult to visually separate different days and weeks.
• Tiny, unreadable fonts: The text size is far too small and cannot be adjusted, causing unnecessary eye strain just to read my daily schedule.
• Loss of the integrated sidebar: Forcing users out of a seamless side-by-side view with Mail breaks the core workflow that made Yahoo Calendar useful in the first place.
This update has ruined a tool I rely on daily. Please stop prioritizing modern aesthetics over basic functionality and give users an option to revert to the classic, readable layout.
