I am elderly. I am 66 years old. Looking at the sceen with small font size is getting very bad for me.
Also, the new format and layoout are just too difficult for me to navigate for someone who is not so tech savvy.

Allow the user to set the font that displays in the inbox and other views. And make unread messages not only bold, but with a little subtle shading so it's even more obvious that they're unread.

It's so much harder determining new email vs old email. I've gone to the place where I get to pick the font, but it doesn't change. UGH.
My other issue is that the emails don't load when I click on email from the yahoo home page until I refresh it three times. It's so frustrating. I'm thinking of switching to gmail (which I already have for other emails). It's much more user-friendly.

Unless I am able to read this I will be leaving yahoo mail. I've been a user for many years but this is unuseable for me.

The new email is more difficult to skim for legitimate emails. Maybe a different font would help. Don't make me move to Gmail.

When reading a message the current fonts are very small. It would be handy if there is a possibility to view with larger fonts.
Fully white background is too shiny, makes it very tiring going through the inbox. The classic view I was using before was showing some grayish background, that was better for the eyes. Also the dark view, completely black background is not the best usable. -

The font used in the inbox (14px) is too small for me to read easily. 16px would be the minimum for me. Also, kerning of the fantasy 'Yahoo Product Sans VF' font makes it harder to read. Users should be able to adjust the font size in their preferences.

Let me change the font for my Inbox! This is awful. I hate this version of Yahoo and plan to move to gmail.

I can't easily tell already read emails from new unread emails anymore. The old version had a slightly darker and less bold font for emails that were already read on my front page and I liked that look much more. I don't want to have to select a new category to be able to see which emails are new or not when i want to look at all of my recent emails. You need to either make that distinction more clear, by making unread and read emails look different, like they used to in the classic version, or allow users to customize more and maybe pick their own font colors or something. Honestly the new version of Yahoo makes me want to switch everything to G-mail and I don't like their design either. I wish you would bring the classic version back for those who like it as it looked much better and was easier to use in my opinion.

On Desktop and app, can the sender's name be in a larger bold font like it was in the old design. it is very hard to tell apart the sender from the preview text of the message.
Also, on desktop alone, please bring back the ability to mark items as "read" by clicking on the little purple dot next to the email which is just to the left of the sender. it was a very convenient way of marking items as read when it was needed

Man the message is only a third of the page width! Folders one third and ads one third. Big Dumb ICONS And fonts are sooo LARGE. I get horizontal scrollbars. Little popups that say DELETE This is terrible!

Can I change the font of this interface. This sans-serif font is rough for me. Can we get a serif font such as Georgia Pro. The serif fonts are easier and quicker for me to read. This comment box is in times new roman, a serif font, but the whole yahoo mail interface is a blocky san-serif style. A few font options for the interface and reading panes would be excellent please.

Offer bold fonts like Ariel Black for incoming mail. Seniors and visually impared need darker and larger fons for reading mail. We use ZOOM to magnify but that doesn't fix the ****** font yahoo is using. for **INCOMING MAIL**.

Font is too small for older eyes. Trying to get seniors to leave Yahoo mail? Need more differentiation between read/unread emails. The small blue dot is not enough.
