The cusomizability of the former MyYahoo made it more than just a news page. We could access email, weather for any city we chose, RSS feeds, bookmarks, and more. Why did Yahoo find that so unsustainable??

Surely a tech company as well-established as Yahoo can develop a customizable homepage as good as or better than the now-discontinued MyYahoo. Why don’t you? U til then, there is nothing to distinguish Yahoo from any other news-gathering site. And, in fact, it’s not even as attractive or useful as Google or MSN, so I have no reason to stick with Yahoo.

MyYahoo was MY Yahoo…customizable. The “new” format is just another news site. We have plenty of those already. Go back to what made MyYahoo UNIQUE.

MyYahoo offered the ability to save bookmarks and relevant news feeds. Widgets/modules included email preview, calendar, weather for cities we selected. While it wasn't the most important option, we could choose between different layouts and backgrounds. An "new" myYahoo should include those functionalities. Right now, it's just another generic news page.

A new Yahoo.com is NOT a new MyYahoo. A new MyYahoo should be customizable with bookmarks, RSS feeds, and (above all) EMAIL PREVIEW.

MyYahoo was about as perfect a start page as there could be. It could be everything to anybody. Please bring it back.

News is only one feature on a truly useful start page. How about weather (for multiple cities of my choice), a personal calendar, email preview, and bookmarks? Can’t Yahoo, one of the pioneers of the online experience, figure out how to maintain such a useful start page?
