Wanna have empty Trash and Empty spam button back? Switch to Basic Mail, like I did.
Click the three dots (low left) - Settings - Switch To basic Mail.
Yes it does not have all the advanced functions but at least it's got those BASIC ones.
Yes it does not have any graphic but at least it's not all grey with gmail rounded edges.
I am an older desktop user and I don't need today's kids to redesign all my favoriet websites to adapt mobile phone look to get a raise for creating twice space for ads. I'm tired of all their experiments.
I stay with Yahoo Basic Mail.happy girl

Apparently, having colors was too much "upkeep".
Really rich to hear something like that in year 2025. Like 20 years ago (of which the "new" look reminds me), who would have guessed this is how things will turn out?:-D
