I would really like to see the number of emails in each of the categories as the cursor is hovering over the box types.
Knowing how many messages are there is an incentive to cleaning out messages, no matter what box they are in.
Thank you for listening to my suggestion...should be easy to make this change!!

Please display the TOTAL number of emails in each folder, not just the number of unread items. Seeing the total number of emails in each folder, including the total number of emails in Trash and Spam is necessary for mailbox management.

I don't care about the number of unread emails. I want to know how many emails total are in my folders and specifically my inbox. This allows me to better manage my inbox.

I've seen some responses with instructions on how to see the total number of Unread emails. While helpful, we also need to see the TOTAL number of Unread + Read emails in our Inbox, and other folders. This is necessary for mail management.

Why did you remove the number of total message and the number of unread messages in the Inbox? That is useful in managing my messages. Replacing those numbers with just the percentage of storage space used and available doesn't help me much. I request you put that feature back into this "new" version.

Show the number of all emails in each folder (including Inbox, Spam, etc.) at least as a tooltip as it was in the Classic version.
I've accumulated hundred of emails in many of my folders and in some cases, thousands of emails, through the years, and currently there is no easy way to know how many emails I have in a folder. -

You can go back to classic version by going to the three dots look like this ... it's under folders locate settings scroll down until you locate switch to basic email and click on it takes you to the classic version. You can also sort by oldest to newest or newest to oldest in Inbox, Spam, Trash folders, etc. Hope this helps.

For the standard version make the number of emails in each category visible all of the time instead of hovering over the icon.

You say that showing the numbers in the folders is something you are planning to add later. It was already there so why do you now have to plan on adding it.

Agreed! Ben, I also found this very handy and have recently noticed that the total number was added to Drafts folder so I am keeping my fingers crossed that the other Categories will follow!

Hi Ben, yes we do show the total number of unread emails, but we do not show them for each category. We will share this with our team and see if it's something we are planning to add later. Stay tuned!

The total number of emails is important because you can't see how many are there beyond what's showing, and scrolling gives a feeling but not the exact number.
