If you go to the About page in the settings, the title line at the top of the new window that opens actually says this LOL.
"The New Yahoo Mail.Designed to Simplify Your Life"
The new yahoo mail has actually done the complete opposite. My productivity has gone to complete **** since they forced this down our throat.

It's almost like they are actively trying to drive their customer base away. If that's the case you're doing an outstanding job.

Yahoo really needs to start listening to their customers. Give everyone the option to switch back. This new version is buggy, missing features, is ugly, and extremely slow. Anyone who has a paid Yahoo Mail Plus account can call their paid support line for free. Please call them and demand we get the option to switch back. 800-305-7664

BTW, we can keep voting all day. Problem is they don't give a **** and are not going to revert back. They obviously don't give a rat's *** about their customers.

The more I use this new email the more things I keep finding that I loathe about it. I am so tired of this ****** new UI they're forcing down our throat.

The basic mail option has been hamstrung to the point of making it unusable so we would use the new mail which is also unusable but at least has the ability to have some control of how we view and use our mail. At least put the full settings back so your customers can choose what they want to use. I am currently a paid subscriber but not for long if we keep getting forced to use this new version of mail

Just spoke to customer care. They cannot set up back to the classic version. This really sucks. Thanks for ruining a good thing Yahoo. Expect me to cancel my paid subscription. Another dumb decision by Yahoo leadership

It's really ******** how the other feedback have Pending or Under Review yet this thread which is the highest ranked has nothing. It shows how little they care for what their customers want. Yahoo has completely jumped the shark at this point.

Please, please, please give us the option of using the new mail or going back to the old version. The new version has disabled my productivity and makes me want to stop paying for Yahoo Mail Plus

Also, it's really hard to tell which mail is unread.

I want to go back to the classic version. I am unable to see additional mailboxes I've added. there is a big box of **** on the right side of the screen that I do not want and cannot get rid of. I am not able to use the keyboard shortcuts that I have used for years. Give us the option to go back to the classic. Especially if we are paying monthly which I am.

1. You will need to expand the left side column first.
2. From the Inbox, hover your mouse over the edge of your Inbox (left side)
3. Double arrows will appear and you can click to expand column
4. When the column expanded, a drop down arrow will appear next to Folders
5. Click on that and the Folders will stay expanded for that session, even if you are checking emails, the folder list will stay expandedThe folders will collapse back if you refresh, close the window or log out of the account.
This works but why should we have to do it each time there is a refresh or it opens anew? This really frustrating. The Yahoo mail team really needs to stop feeling like they know better than their customers how they want the information presented.

You have also decided for us to keep the left panel uncluttered by making our folders into a button but you leave the starred box to the right which is complete clutter. Not sure who is running things there and making these decisions but you really need to give your customers the ability to customize what they are seeing and how they want it presented.

It was annoying to have to keep expanding the folders I've created but now. you guys have outdone. yourselves and made it even worse. It is now a button I have to press each time I want to see my folders. As if this new UI you're forcing us to use wasn't bad enough you actually found a way to make it worse. Bravo.

Totally agree. I never gave permission to let your AI crawl my messages. I am a paid member of Yahoo Mail Plus. Sounds like a class action lawsuit in the making...

Agreed. We need more ability to choose what we want to take up our screen space. The ability to turn that off should be an easy addition.

Go back to the bold and unbold. The color fill is ridiculous and hard to look at

This new update is HORRIBLE. If I use the new ****** version I can't see my other mailboxes that I configured but I can scroll the messages. If I switch to basic it is so nerfed that I can only see messages by the page and cannot shift-select messages. The color is horrible. I can sometimes get back to the original mail but it eventually sets me back. I am so unbelievably unhappy with this new mail and the inability to choose the version we want to use

As a long time Yahoo mail user and Yahoo plus subscriber, please let me thank you for giving us the option of switching back to the classic mail UI. It is very much appreciated. I hope as you work on the new version you continue to allow users to make the choice for themselves which UI to use.
