Honor the browser settings - autoplay
I have Firefox set to NOT "autoplay audio and video", yet Yahoo News seems to ignore my browser settings.
I DO NOT WANT VIDEOS SUCKING UP MY DATA ALLOTMENT!
Why can't Yahoo honor my browser settings? If I want news videos, I will turn on my 65" TV. Why would I want to watch a video on my 6" phone screen? I even have dual 24" monitors OVER dual 27" monitors on my PC... Again, why would I want to watch a video on my 6" phone screen?
Guess my only option is to boycott Yahoo News on my phone.554th ranked -

Your "world" news is pretty much Euro-centric.
Note that Yahoo's "World News" is essentially European news.

Stop New York Times Articles. Too left leaning, way too left.
The New York Times is not a news source, they are propaganda for the left and their editorials only reflect the woke spewing viewpoint.

Balanced
It is very clear that whoever chooses your news article is very liberal. Try and make it less obvious by the articles chosen and the titles maybe? It completely invalidates any idea that the site may be some what lookinmg to show news not positions.

Im tired of the fake news from certain organizations. How can I get news from sources that I trust.
I seriously don't want to be bombarded with fake news from liberal garbage "news" sources. How can I tailor my home page to get rid of obvious garbage.

Why does the news feed have so many stories of celebs in teeny bikinis? This is not news.
I would appreciate a leaner news feed--like mostly news!

Do not Keep up articles where “commenting has ended.”
If “commenting has been ended” on an article, there is no reason for the article to remain up, or, most egregiously, reposted with the current date. I was preparing to comment on an article with the dateline of today (1/1/24), when I saw that commenting had somehow already ended. Looking at the comments, they were from 3 weeks prior. How does commenting end 3 weeks before an article is posted? If an article is worth reposting, the public has the right to determine if it is still worth commenting on. I realized some factual errors and inaccurate assumptions made in…
