Longer commenting periods
I believe that the 3 day limit for commenting on articles is a bit short. I myself find that especially on Mondays that many articles can no longer be commented on and I'm thinking here I am wanting to comment on this article but because I'm away the weekend I can't. Many comments are made on Fridays and if I miss them on Monday I have to let it go. I believe that 5 days would be much better and give more people a chance to have their say. I read Yahoo news everyday except the weekends and very often…

REACTIVATE feedback on ALL stories.
Time to let society comment.

Since you have stopped allowing commenting on news articles, instead you should allow readers to simply rate the article without comments.
Yahoo, you should be in touch with what readers think of your articles. If you don't want commenting, you should at least allow readers to give you their opinions on the accuracy or quality of the articles. You could have several kinds of opinion categories, or just let readers send you comments that are for your info only. Just so you know how people are reacting to your news articles. I see some good ones, and some really dumb ones. I'd think you'd want to know how you're doing.

Bring back comment section
My guess is the comment section was taken down because that is the best way for yahoo to push it's very biased and liberal agenda. That's the best way to silence people with a different view (the truth) take away their voice. Have gotten to where I dont even pay attention on yahoo page. To much false ********. There are no journalists left in this country with enough testicular fortitude to actually report the truth

I love to filter out news by a person's name.
If never read the names Kardashian or R-Kelly... I love Megan Markle, but I'm tired of reading all the hate. I want to filter out their names

I would appreciate not having news articles filled with profanity posted.
Since Yahoo can't seem to stomach comments in fear of offending someone. I would appreciate not having articles on your site filled with hateful profanity like have been posted lately on your news site. It's incredibly unprofessional, and childish to be posting articles filled with profanity because it fits a narrative you support. Not sure what happened to integrity in the media, but having articles dropping F-bombs in it sure isn't showing it.

Small Town Photography Team Taking the Art-World By Storm
My name is Amanda Ray. I wanted to reach out about a potential arts/culture story in Yahoo News.
To tell you a bit about myself, l'm half of an internationally renown husband & wife photography team stationed in the small country town of Florence outside of Jackson, Mississippi. We have spent the past three years documenting historical sites, forgotten forests and cemeteries across America with our vintage medium format film camera (a dying art to say the least). In this, we have met with tremendous recognition in the arts and have had the opportunity to publish nearly 70 photographs in…

TERMINATE FEEDS FROM WASHINGTON EXAMINER NOW!
STEP UP YAHOO ! I point your attention to the following article from the Washington Examiner:
https://news.yahoo.com/civil-disobedience-stop-another-covid-205700587.html
Explain to me , to us, how you can actually allow such drivel?? In "better" times, such articles would be considered comical, bordering on schizophrenia. But not anymore, AS ALL YOU KNOW ALL TOO WELL.
Prioritize journalistic dignity !!!!!

Bring the user back to the story on the main page
Reading and closing a story brings user back to start of the news page. To come back to the story would be ideal - just like google news displays. Happens on android and desktop.

You put many parts of the titles of your news stories in blue. They are extremely hard to read. Do something else to emphasize text.
In the titles of your articles, you emphasize words by putting them into blue. Those blue words are very hard to read. Use something else to emphasize those words that doesn't make them harder to read.

rump returns to Washington for first time since 2020 defeat
Sebastian Smith
Mon, July 25, 2022 at 8:58 PMDonald Trump returns Tuesday to Washington for the first time since he left the White House after a failed attempt to overturn his election loss to Joe Biden.
Trump, increasingly teasing a bid to win back the presidency in 2024, is set to address the America First Policy Institute, a think tank run by allies.
He'll be appearing in a city riveted by weeks of hearings held by a Democratic-run House of Representatives committee on the January 6, 2021 riot where…
