In the 2025 public prize league in baseball, there are 4 IL spots. I think this was increased from the past because of covid and it is time to reduce it. I checked a public league from 2012 and there was only 1 IL spot. I am a private league commissioner and when I set up that league, it defaulted to two IL sports. We are now using three because of covid but I am now thinking about going back to two. More than that ties up too many players and leaves nothing on the waiver wire. I would like to see two in all cases.
