Rosters/Lineups - Roster limits for positions.
This feature would allow commissioners to set the maximum and minimum number of players a team can roster at each position at a given time. For example, teams can have a maximum of 3 QBs on their roster or a team can have a minimum of 1 kicker. Currently there is no way to set the maximum or minimum number of players a team can roster at each position.

our leauge is Aon West Football League #1631i can not find any way to communicate with Yahoo or chat with Yahoo folks...

I don't know where else to post this but when I saw that Andy Behrens and Dalton Del Don were key go, then saw an AI written article about Jameson Williams the next day, I'm not sure I'll be reading your content any more. Replacing two veterans with unique takes and likable personalities with the slop i read earlier is a very tough pill to swallow. I don't know if you guys just blew your money on O'Connor, but this feels really dirty as someone who really enjoyed your writers compared to what's available at sites like ESPN and Fantasy Pros.

I'm tired of playing roster police. Yahoo needs to add commish tools for the ability to set roster positional limits. As super flex leagues become more popular we need to be able to set roster limits in order to keep things fair and prohibit hoarding qbs etc.

This is critical for all. It is important for commissioners to be able to set limits (especially in larger leagues - 10, 12 man leagues) where teams are more likely to hoard QBs - there’s 32 teams and in a 2QB Superflex league, that’s at minimum 2 QBs per team (excluding ANY bench QB). ESPN does this on their platform and, despite being with Yahoo for over 11 years, we may have to switch due to this not being an option.

We should be able to limit the amount of players for a specific position. QBs, TEs, kickers etc etc. please make it happen! It would prevent a lot of issues and complaints

This is very important to our 2QB league. We have 10 teams and would like to restrict rosters to 3 QBs so that there are always 2 starting QBs available for pickup. If teams horde 4-5 QBs on their bench, there are no starters available. We had a similar issue with RBs in another league and I was manually enforcing a limit of 6 RBs per roster, but setting auto restriction would be much better.

If this doesn’t change for the 2025-26 season I’m switching to ESPN, there’s no reason not to have more control over the rosters to keep things fairer. Have been with Yahoo for Fantasy Sports since 2009 and don’t want to leave, but this will force my hand if not resolved.

So, Yahoo isn't going to make this change? I think the draft limit setting means you can only draft 2QBs, but then people can hoard post draft. So if someone's QB gets hurt, they are screwed. ESPN can limit people to 2QBs on the roster.

This needs to happen asap, Really thinking of switching to ESPN or Sleeper. I truly like yahoo and don't want to switch because all my league's I'm in are on yahoo but if it isn't changed asap then I'm going to leave

Superflex 12 man leagues it's critical to not have qb hoarding owners, otherwise we have to shorten benches

Please make this change. ESPN has this option, and it helps with keeping a more viable set of options on waivers to replace injured players, and prevents silly behaviors like rostering all the unplayed kickers or defenses to keep your streaming opponent from getting one.

We really needs this. As a commish we are considering moving to ESPN to get this feature.
It is important that IR spaces "excludes" players from the roster max.
If possible it would be very nice, if you could chose to "exclude" players on bye from the max calculation - commish setting :-)) -
