Schedule/Scoring Formats - Customizable weekly doubleheaders.
This format will allow commissioners to schedule 2 matchups in any given week. These matchups would be against other league members. Currently, this is not available for commissioners.

It makes no sense that you offer a 2nd head to head matchup option but not the ability to customize the 2nd head to head matchups. If you randomize the schedule the system does a terrible job and some teams end up playing a team once all year and playing another team 7 teams. You charge for this feature but make it ****.

It's incredibly hard to create a balanced schedule when yahoo won't allow me to pick the 2nd match up for every week. Right now, I can only choose 1 match up per week even though I upgraded to the "Commissioner Plus" feature. Is there something I'm missing?

Having the ability to edit the DoubleHeader Schedule is critical. The default algorithm creates a very unbalanced schedule. It sets you up to play one team a lot more than the other, and even adjusting the games you cannot control does not fully fix the problem.
We play a lot of money for Yahoo Commissioner Plus and to have the main reason why we bought it create suck an issue has to be remedied.

We need to have the ability to set our own custom schedule for doubleheaders. We pay a lot of money for Yahoo+ and to have the default algorithm create a horrible unbalanced schedule where you play one team once and another team 8 times is unsatisfactory. This needs to be remedied before the start of the season.

Please update commissioner tools to allow us to be able to edit BOTH matchups instead of having matchup #2 be completely random. The schedule should be made so that it’s totally fair/even as far as playing each team the same number of times. In our ten team league, each team should play each other 3 times and one team they would play 4 times when we utilize dual matchups. The way it is now, yahoo will completely randomize matchup #2 for EVERY CHANGE made to matchup #1 and can have teams play each other up to 10 times in a year which is absurd. We HAVE to be able to change BOTH matchups

The scheduling algorithm is terrible. We have some teams scheduled to play 7 times. You need to either fix this feature to balance the schedule correctly, or allow the Commissioner to edit both games . I tried inputting all the first games hoping to get a better random schedule, we at least got it to some teams only playing 4 times. It would have been nice to have a balanced schedule.

I am assuming Yahoo asking $25 for this option with a result is unfair scheduling (play one owner 6x and other owners 0x) was not the intent!! A simple programming change of playing each owner a minimum of 2x and maximum of 3x would fix this. Or you gotta allow commissioner to change the entire schedule.

I've purchased the Commisioner add-on for $25 this year in fantasy football. My main attraction is being able to play 2 opponents a week. I am not able to edit the second matchup in the league schedule. I need this feature. I have a 12 man league, we playy 11 regular season matchups, x 2 each manager should play the other manager 2x in the year. Some teams currently in my new schedule play another team 6x in the season. Help!

In the Edit Schedule allow commissioners the ability to schedule 1st and 2nd opponent for each week to balance out the games in each division.

Yahoo now allows Doubleheaders.....but only if you pay the $25 to upgrade using the Commissioner PLUS option.

I have a 12 team league. You can build a nice schedule. But your random 2nd opponent doesn't make sense. I ended up with 8 matchups between multiple opponents. I can share my schedule with you to show what it looks like for a 12 man league.

Can you make the 2 matchup a week, make schedule where everyone will play each other equal # of times?

This needs to be a feature. Other platforms like espn offer this

GP Sharlows comment is exactly right. It makes no sense that in an 8 man league with 2 opponents for 14 weeks, that all teams don't play each other exactly 4 times. To make it worse, even if I changed every game between A-G, it still had them playing 7 games as the second opponent with no way to change it. If this is not resolved before this season starts, I will be asking for a refund of my "Commissioner Plus" since the only reason we got it was so all teams could play each other 4 times. And we will be moving our Platinum leagues next year to ESPN or NFL fantasy. It was ridiculous to have to pay just for 1 or 2 features, especially if they do not work the way they should.

glad you implemented the weekly double headers. however, your scheduling algorithm is brutal. in our 8 team, 14 week regular season schedule, each team should play each of the other seven opponents four times. perfect - two games a week, 28 games alt together.
except you have some sort of random scheduling where one team plays another 10 times and most of the other teams twice! What the ****?
You won't let commissioners set it up, so I will gladly send you the algorithm for an eight team, 14 week schedule that will allow all eight teams to play two opponents a week, and each opponent exactly four times during the season, without any weekly conflicts.
Where can i send it? -

I have been playing fantasy football for 44 years and have been using Yahoo for the last 11 years. As the commissioner of over 100+ leagues over the past 44 years, my goal is to create a league that is fun and operates as close to the NFL as possible One thing that I started using was doubleheaders, this allows us to play a full schedule, just like the NFL. I have 8 12-team leagues and we play a 17-game schedule, we only need 2 doubleheaders since we only have 4 teams that make the championship bracket of the playoffs. I have been asking for you guys to implement doubleheaders for the last 5 years and nothing has happened. I run the most unique format in the country....we play 8 different leagues rolled into one overall champion. We play 6 different styles of fantasy football and the winner of this league can claim to be in the top 1% of all fantasy league players. Please add doubleheaders, you will find out just how popular they will become.

This would def be cool. I think double header vs league median is more important though

This would be absolutely incredible. I saw this feature on other platforms a few years back and was so upset when I found out Yahoo did not offer this.
This format still allows you to do the traditional H2H which everyone loves rather than go to a highest points wins type league or a rotisserie.
The more customization you guys allow on your platform will create for a much better product/service.

But also pls add the ability to schedule ACTUAL DOUBLEHEADERS where a team has MORE THAN 1 FANTASY MATCHUP in a week. This can't be too much effort for you Yahoo, as the scoring module would be the same, just more of the existing Source Code.
This is the primary reason i don't move some of my leagues to Yahoo.

Commissioners should be able to change tiebreaking procedures. 3 teams finished at 9-6 and because 1 team had a record week and gave him a huge point lead. It gave him the 3 seed over the other two 9-6 teams despite him being 0-3 against those two teams and having a worse division record then both the 4 and 5 seeds. Our league would like to switch to a format like the NFL uses and total points should be the last tie breaker over head to head and division record even for the wild cards not just the division winners.
