For the first time I decided to join a cash league. I found a league with the settings I liked. This is what I agreed to. However, the commissioner quietly changed settings a few times over the week. Nothing was said in the league. No discussion. No feedback from teams. Thankfully I saw the yahoo automated email. The changes early in the week were minor so I was okay with it. Then right before the draft scoring settings were changed. I didn’t see this until after the draft. I had prepared my draft based on the settings when I joined. Even if I saw this right before the draft it is not enough time to reassess draft strategy. This just feels so wrong. It feels like a scam. I am not happy. My suggestion to everyone would be to stay away from private cash leagues unless you know the people in the league. It’s clear there are people running scams.
