Dynasty/Keepers - Leave league open to allow trading, adds, and drops during the offseason
This would allow managers to make all league transactions within the platform, including adds, drops, and trades, throughout the year.

We definitely need this please!
Also, if rosters are live during the off season, please allow the GMs/Commissioners to select keepers which will auto import when next seasons draft is about to commence.

Instead of having leagues go Read-Only at the conclusion of the regular season, please allow for trades of players/picks during the summer months. For keeper leagues, the summer is an important time of year and right now, we need to track everything manually and hope we input everything correctly immediately before next seasons draft.

Yahoo, please for the love of all things hockey add this function. Every single year I get teams agreeing to trades in the off season and every year I need to state - Yahoo doesn't support it. Then I have to put my yahoo hat on and defend why we use this site when they all want to go elsewhere.

I tried having "No trade deadline" and locking each team from trades at our own deadline with the idea of unlocking trading again after our playoffs were over and the NHL's began. But after unlocking the message reads "error 155 The Game is over you can't do this action." Another good idea blocked by yahoo! It would benefit my keeper league who allows offseason trades to even just allow trading during the NHL playoffs - we're still all following hockey for the most part during that time. Can't see why it couldn't be all season or at least extended for playoffs

This is a great idea! Make this happen Yahoo! NHL is year round fun, whether the season is on or not! Can't say how many times I get asked if this is possible (as a perpetual keeper commish)

My league would be on year round and it would make my life so much easier when teams trade off season picks that I need to manually enter!
Also would be amazing if yahoo could simply implement an points only league that takes into account the players entire season point totals when acquired. So easy to do yet 15 years later yahoo still can't seem to understand people want this option.

As already stated, popularity is heading towards and has been for awhile with keeper/dynasty leagues. having the ability to track and trade during the offseason would be amazing. even if it was a premium, people would pay.

This is a great idea. As of now, my 10 year league has to track all the final rosters and draft picks off the site in order to do the off-season trading. Would be nice to have it all kept here.

Hopefully your 'gathering feedback' tag actually results in someone looking into it, Yahoo? Though the message was created in September and there are no comments from Yahoo staff. Why? What has to be done to get you to provide real feedback, rather than just a 'gathering feedback' tag?

I'd like to see Yahoo feature a full Dynasty mode with year round availability, offseason Entry draft and the ability to host a minor league/Fam system.
Dynasty mode is extremely popular in the gaming community and many Yahoo competitors are gaining traction with similar features.

I am co-commish of a dynasty league and this would really be a lifesaver. We are considering changing sites because of this.

If not that, then Yahoo! should allow trades between when the keeper list needs to be declared and when the draft would commence. This way, GMs could swap picks for players.

Totally agree, Why Yahoo! has not given us this is beyond me. Id even pay a premium to get it but make it free for everyone. This is a MUST for us keeper leagues. Doing waivers, trades or just looking over our rosters for the next season is beneficial. It also allows everyone to stay in better contact. Some leagues have some serious hardcore leagues going and this would be awesome.

I would recommend that off-season trading can only be conducted between the teams of record and that no players can be retrieved from the waivers.

Definitely need this. I just posted something similar. Also, the rule that to be in the Yahoo player database that the player has to be an NHLPA union member is silly. Players should be added to the Yahoo database as soon as they are drafted by an NHL team.
