Since there's no thumbs down, I will flag articles instead.....
.....no thumbs down, so I see this as my only option to show disapproval. If you don't think flagging is appropriate, bring back the thumbs up and down.

My friend is walking across 48 states to raise awareness for veterans and suicide. I think this would make a great story. Vets come back so damaged and often commit suicide. Kevin Kinkead is trying to raise awareness of this issue.

If your "update" include taking away thumbs and being able to see replies on news article comments, you've made a HUGE mistake!!
This morning I discovered that I cannot see any replies to comments made on articles from your home page. The thumbs up and down have also been taken away. Do you people have any idea why we post comments? We interact with others. We might argue, we might agree, but we're aren't commenting just to comment and be done with it. You have already ruined Answers (long ago!!), and it looks as if you're **** bent on ruining your entire site! You're pushing people away. Not one of my family members uses Yahoo for their email anymore. I've stuck with…

I am ceasing to use Yahoo. Your continuous one-sided push of Hillary Clinton is not reasonable.
I am ceasing to use Yahoo. Sadly, your continuous, one-sided, glossed over facts, push for Hillary Clinton is not reasonable. True, both candidates have immense flaws but Yahoo certainly has taken the stance of Hillary Clinton or nothing. Thus, one must surely believe that all your news items and issues are all one-sided. It is very sad that you folks tossed credibility aside along with other media types. In the end it makes you no different with zero credibility and just another "me-too" entertainment site. Thank You and good-bye.

When Are You Going to Admit You Blew it and Bring Back Thumbs up/Thumbs down?
I really don't understand your motivation in changing the comments section into the messages section and removing thumbs up/thumbs down in the process. If I go to check if anybody hearted my comment (pardon me, message) it doesn't show any replies and any replies I've posted don't show the original message that I was replying to. I haven't seen this big of a blunder since the launch of Apple maps.

STOP CHANGING THE COMMENTS!
No one comes here for your quality news reports. I mean, no one ever comes here to search anything anymore either. As far as I can tell, you deliver email and have a fun comment section, and you're actively trying to ruin the latter.
Just leave it alone. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
What is it? Do you have web designers on retainer and you don't want the money to go to waste? I know you're having some cash flow problems at the moment.
Just go back to classic and let people enjoy. Right now it's a mess…

thumbs up and thumbs down
I use Yahoo because you have had the best comment section out there, and that is the only reason. Having thumbs up and thumbs down and being able to easily follow my own comments is the sole reason I stay exclusively on Yahoo....without that your website, especially with all the "read more" clicks needed is really second rate, and I have absolutely no reason not only to stay on your page exclusively...but at all.....

Yahoo is part of the "Liberal Media"
Stop being part of the liberal media. All day I look at your choices of stories shown on the your home page. Story after story defaming and critical of Donald Trump. Why do you not include an equal number of defaming stories about Hilary Clinton? She is just as bad as Trump if not worse in many ways.
Try showing a little equality for once. Are you afraid Obama Bin Laden and his corrupt government will Shut you Down?

Can't see my comment history of thumbs down
Why would you remove a core feature that your subscriber base is based on? Thumbs up and specifically thumbs down on comment is what has kept me with you and separated you from the competition. Now that other sites are starting to include a down button instead of the feel-good up-only option, you decide to alienate us by going to a HEART ONLY, of all things. I keep coming back to check if you've fixed your home page and then browse some articles, but each time I do, I see more detrimental changes, which makes it easier to stay away.

Get rid of the redirect. Good riddance.
This morning I find that when you click on an article, it takes you to another Yahoo page with only a couple of sentences of the article, and a "read more" button that takes you to the actual article. Another instance of Yahoo attempting to boost revenues by showing ads twice.

Cyrillic symbols in subject of message get currupted
Hi
look at this:
https://monosnap.com/file/KG4xEYce1nYRs7UoY4rlgsvKZg8EXg
When cyrillic subject line hits some limit of characters, it gets truncated from the end, but by bytes and not by characters, as it should be. You just break the last character subtracting the bytes from ir, which causes such broken character.Your quick response and fix are much appreciated.
