Dull Yahoo page
Earlier ,few months back once we sign out from the e mail we used to land on yahoo page containing news with slide option ,at least 35 to 40 news were there with coloured photograph . Which was a very good experience.Now when i sign our from my e mail i land on to a page which opens a yahoo page which is dull .when i click the news section it comes out in list form ,which i don't want to read because of its presentation . Improve mic sound quality
I like most of the reporting but the audio quality on voices is terrible due to what sounds like low quality mics (airpods, webcam mics etc). There is so much reflected noise getting picked up, it's unbearable to listen to.
I just watched the interview with Dr Su from AMD and her recording sounded professional and clear whereas Brian's mic sounded awful like airpods or a webcam (lots of echo, low quality) even though he was wearing a lavalier. All ads should always offer Ad Choices X or Feedback or Thumbs Up/Down so i can remove offending ones from my page
Some ads now do not offer anymore the ad choices or the feedback button in order to flag them as inappropriate. (Ex American Alpha)
I see either **** or political ads on the yahoo page and i cant give feedback to have them removed. I understand you will always have advertisements on a yahoo page but i should be able to get rid of the ones i despise

Proofread paid advertisement headlines!
I am getting a paid advertisement link on my Yahoo! homepage that screams "The Worst MLB Ballpark Is In Arkansas", where I live.
One small problem with that: There are NO MLB ballparks in Arkansas because there are no MLB teams here; the closest thing we have are two Class AA Minor League Baseball teams (Arkansas Travelers & Northwest Arkansas Naturals), both playing in fairly new ballparks. Can you please refrain from posting stories with spoiler alerts before the west coast has a chance to see the program of which you are disclosing important results. Case in point, the fact that Amy Schneider lost on Jeopardy! You posted the results before the show aired across the country. Yahoo is turning me off!
We are in the middle of a pandemic with SO MUCH FALSE INFORMATION FREELY POSTED AND YAHOO IS ALSO TO BLAME!
As a grocery store worker in distress every work day, I don't want to see mistruths about masks because too many people believe it and Yahoo is promoting the lies too by advertising these lies.
Yahoo used to be more credible but now seem infected by whatever has infected a lot of people that believe and spread these lies. Masks do work and we ALL NEED TO WEAR THEM TO BE EFFECTIVE! Add an B or an A to earning dates for companies on summary page
For the yahoo finance app and the web page it would be very helpful to see an A for after or a B for before hours. This way I can see right at the summary screen when a company is reporting earnings.

Don't keep on asking for recovery email / phone number / verify
Its a bother !!! Of no help really. A person may check one's email on own PC / Laptop / Smartphone / Public Computer. Alerts / Verification takes too much precious time for those on the go. SMS alert. Unexpected sign-in attempt. IP Addresses are different for all those devices, even if one's own.
NO use really as IP/VPN can be mimicked.
Also, phone number input can be used as a tracking device to locate someone ( triangulation ) by government authorities. Smartphone is a tracking device. No need of a chip implant.369th ranked -
AUTO PLAY VIDEOS - Stop at once !
Have mentioned this, and so have many other viewers, buy to NO avail. STOP Auto Play Videos ! Many are sheer rubbish. Viewers spend much of their time clicking on the PAUSE button as they scroll down the news items. Takes too much of Bandwidth / data bundles ( subscriber fee ). Especially carrier data charges and battery.

Please disable the feature that auto switches to another article.
I am reading an article, and it will automatically jump to another article.
And because the article is loaded through Ajax, I can't click the back button.
This is a terrible user experience.
