with the Covid-19 "helodrome" map of earth, why can't approximate percentage estimates of infection rates be indicated in a colorized map ?
Re; YAHOO supervision of accuracy--
with the Covid-19 "helodrome" map of earth, why can't approximate percentage estimates of infection rates be indicated in a colorized map ?
Shouldn't even allow a display of "all or nothing" rates of all the nations on earth.
Totally unrealistic to think that a virus stops at any national border, when the winds of chance and opportunity are among the key factors of any airborne disease spread--whether severe symptoms or mild symptoms.
YAHOO might employ some Science Editors to moderate what is posted, not necessarily to censor, but to add comments where a posting is…600th ranked -

Stop using different colors when annotating news stories
The Yahoo News Tiles contain annotations with sections displayed in a different color. Some people cannot see all colors the same and having sentences with sections displayed in different colors makes them very difficult to read. One color (white) will solve this issue.

No links to recipes on articles from Eating Well.
What is the purpose of slide shows of meals from Eating Well if there are no links to the recipes? It is just pictures.

Remove heads from backsides
Under "tech News" there is a category that is called "Latest in streaming technology. BUT, it lists the latest movies and shows on streaming services. Shouldn't that be under "Entertainment"? Or is your AI (Artificial stupidity) program broken. Or is ti your fruitacakelanders that are stupid?

Yahoo! Mail has too many stupid steps
Yahoo decided unnecessary steps to opening and moving emails. Instead of just selecting a message, we now get a pop-up asking us to select before we can select the desired message. On top of THAT, another pop-up asks us if we want to delete messages. If I want to delete, then I'll DELETE. I don't need extra pop-ups asking if I want to delete. So ANNOYING. You all have too much time on your hands, adding unnecessary steps to this program.

proof read
Headline I just read: "Airline praises pilots in crash landing where 38 fatalities was reported"
WAS? (...38 fatalities were reported)
If the writing isn't accurate, confirms the reporting will also be slipshod.600th ranked -
Too many refreshes
Page refreshes too frequently. I have to open each article I want to read in a new tab, or it may be gone due to refresh. Then when I go to the tab to read, that too refreshes to the home page. I am re-considering Yahoo as my home page after 20+ years.

This is a plea for you to bring back GIFs in yahoo mail. A GIF said and showed emotions one sometimes can't express in words.
Emotions like Joy, Sadness, Miss You or Happy Birthday! Emojis are too small to get the right effect. Why did you stop? I never was sent a survey about keeping or not. If some people complained, I'm sure there were many more that didn't complain. I tried inserting GIFs from the net but they didn't "move" in the emails I sent. Please bring them back!

Comment section changed
Dear Yahoo,
Something has changed in your comment section that is very frustrating and I know I am not the only one. Recently it seems that your algorithm has changed so that only highly commented or rated comments get seen and rated. I have noticed that if I submit a comment, leave and then come back ten minutes later to search for my comment, that comment has dropped dramatically in the stack without a thumbs up or down, just like all the comments above and below mine. So it seems that Yahoo wants to be seen as hosting popular conversations…600th ranked -

Has anyone received help from this support group?
Another day and I still can't post and I refused to pay blackmail in the way of a support contract.
Has ANYONE actually received help from support without paying for it?

Banner ads in email are disgusting. Weighing an ad blocker vs. leaving yahoo.
I presume you're trying to force people to pay for basic email use by forcing that shameful banner across the bottom that eats up precious real estate I NEED TO READ! I've been using yahoo mail for as long as I can remember and this is the first time I've considered jumping ship. Sad.

Remove or give opt-outs from Yahoo creator articles.
I don't have any interest in these and they're cluttering up my feed.

WTNH is located in New Haven not Hartford, Connecticut.
You might want to note the correct location of WNTH in Connecticut. As a former newspaper editor your editorial staff is subpar at best.
