Incorrect prior day's closing data for BA,NKE and VZ on summary pages

4.10.18. The prior day closing values for BA, NKE and VZ (all DOW components) listed on summary pages are INCORRECT at $326.12, $67.55 and $46.89, respectively. Per the historical prices pages for all three, those are the FRIDAY closes. The CORRECT closes were $322.48, $67.18 and $46.92. I noted similar issues yesterday.

    still working on April 30 problems. All of the prior day closing values in these biotechs appear to be incorrect on summary pages.     4/30/18: Today's list: NKE, V, VZ, WMT, DIS. Does anyone Yahoo care about this software glitch? I am noticing them at 1:40 p.m. ET.

    Add to the list IONS, ICP, NKTR. And, as of 11:38 p.m. ET, AMGN was still showing the Tuesday close as the Wednesday close.

    So far today: GE and GS among the Dow stocks. Elsewhere: AMGN, CL, NUE, RDS-A, TJX,
    .
    .Only AMGN is a Nasdaq-listing.

    But if the system gets the issue resolved by market close, then it seems to me the solution (if it is in your universe) is to refresh the data base before the U.S. open. If it is an ICE/NYSE problem, get them to refresh their \databases.

    I note that the issues among the Dow stocks I cited below are resolved, which suggests you refreshed your system. Why don't you do a complete refresh in the mornings before the market opens in New York? That might fix the problem.

    Plus these: AA, BAC, BEN, BRK-A, C, GM, HON, LLY, LOW, MDP, TWTR, UAL, USB, VALE, WFC.

    These are stocks not on the dividend calendar and all checked against the Yahoo Historical Data pages.

    First of the day is an index. ^GSPTSE. Wednesday close was 15477. On the summary page, Yahoo says it was 15552.06, which was the Monday close. One of the few times I've seen this glitch with an index.

    Dow stocks showing Friday closes as the prior day's close: CVX, DWDP. Others today I see on my lists: APA, APC, CBS, DAL, DDS, GLW, LUV, MDC, TWTR, TWX, WFC.

    A note: I downloaded the Nasdaq-100 stocks today. None had this problem. All of the stocks listed above are NYSE stocks. Maybe worth chatting with them.

    I will file a separate suggestion on this point, but I'll file it here first. You disclosures on ETF closing values are inadequate. I have been struggling to understand the issue but now think I understand it. I believe what I want you to say is something like this: ETF closing values at 4 p.m. ET may not be the same as NAV. Sponsors of ETFs will calculate Net Asset Values each day. The NAVs may differ from what Yahoo says the market close and later.
