Incorrect prior day's closing data for BA,NKE and VZ on summary pages

4.10.18. The prior day closing values for BA, NKE and VZ (all DOW components) listed on summary pages are INCORRECT at $326.12, $67.55 and $46.89, respectively. Per the historical prices pages for all three, those are the FRIDAY closes. The CORRECT closes were $322.48, $67.18 and $46.92. I noted similar issues yesterday.

    Today's problem tickers: AXP, XOM, GE, IBM, VZ. In all cases, the prior day's close listed on their summary pages are, in fact, the closes from Thursday April 19.

    4.20.18. Still more: AMGN, (175.11 listed as prior-day close vs. 172.93 actual), GOOG, (19.97 vs. 1966 actual), PEP ( 106.98 vs. 105.57 actual), SBUX (59.50 vs. 59.52 actual)

    There are more of these issues today involving these tickers: KO, HD, JNJ, PG, and JPM. CAT looks totally screwy, complicated by its dividend. I will concede the dividend issue may make figuring out whether the prior day's close on the summary page is, in fact, the Wednesday close. There is no question about KO, HD, JNJ and JPM.

    Eleven of 30 Dow stocks have incorrect prior-day closes today: BA, CVX, XOM, GE, GS, JPM, MCD, NKE, PFE, PG and V. In every case, the prior day's close is, in fact, the Tuesday close. It seems to me you have a real problem on your hands. Just reviewing doesn't seem to be working.

    First for 4.18.18. Summary page for VZ says the prior day's close was $48.39. The historical prices page says it was $48.85. $48.39 was the MONDAY CLOSE.

    I was incorrect. Another for 4/16/18. LSTR. Friday close was $107.25. Summary page on 4/16 said the prior day's close was $107.55.

    A last one for 4/16/18: A last one: DISCA. Summary page says prior day's close was $23.18. Historical price page says it was $22.83, which is what I had.

    We're not done yet. Add to the list XLP, XLF, SPYG, Lastly, it's not clear to me that JJC is a live ticker. Can you confirm.

    Additional issues with XOM (The thursday close is listed as the Friday close), HD, MCD, PG, and TRV. That's 16.7% of the 30 Dow stocks. I have been calling out this issue for months, and it still is a problem

    4/16/18. Prior day's close of the ^FCHI is incorrect. Yahoo says it was 5,309.22. That was the Thursday close. The Friday close was 5315.02. And today's change is wrong. The correct change should be DOWN 2.06.

    And I don't understand FSBW. The Monday close was $55.84. Yahoo said it was $55.76. There's nothing to say why.
