yahoo finance web showing 'portfolio currency' problem started on Feb 8 2019, abruptly total sum switched from CAD to USD
yahoo finance web "my portfolio" as of feb 8 2019. started showing total of all sub portfolios in USD. There is no way to see it in CAD anymore.
Your help pages useless, The sub portfolios i created months ago in CAD and USD that are still fine. But If i want to create new portfolio it defaults to USD currency and "Edit Currency" actually brings a DUMMY window with nothing that does Save Cancel without ANY currency list "that is promised in your help guide"
That being said all other ios and android app, works better and somehow detects the location or what , it still shows in right currency
I have seen that weird behaviour depending on where i login , ie. if i login to us site it shows my total portfolio value in usd . Then i logout i login to canada site it will show total portfolio in cad. However it is now not matter where i go , it is usd. Plus you can never edit a portfolio currency anymore. Again this is only 'finance web app problem'
Please fix it , the issue looks like something is messed up with usage of location to determine currency type in web finance application to display sum of portfolio values, that is now always USD ! please fix.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IN YAHOO FINANCE WEB EDIT CURRENCY IS ALSO NOW BROKEN. THESE ARE ALL CONNECTED BUGS.
Problems:
1- DISPLAYING SUM OF PORTFOLIO IN USD NO MATTER WHAT
2- NOT BEING ABLE TO EDIT CURRENCY TYPE IN PORTFOLIOS
My suggestion to yahoo web finance ;
SUGGESTION: PROVIDE AN OPTION TO SPECIFY WHAT FINAL CURRENCY MUST BE USED TO DISPLAY SUM OF PORTFOLIOS JUST LIKE SUB PORTFOLIOS. lets say "My Portfolios Total Currency"
My Portfolios/
portfolio1 cad
portfolio2 cad
portfolio3 usd
so allow an option which currency will be used to display sum ,that is effectively "My Portfolios"

Hello!
There was a fix deployed over the weekend to address these concerns. Can you please confirm in your next post that this is now resolved?
Thank you!
Regards,
Yahoo Finance
