The balance sheets template in yahoo finance appears to be mislabeled. For example, current liabilities now include "Total Revenue"
Yahoo Finance balance sheet is missing categories of equity (treasury stock), the numbers don't add up, and some stuff is mislabeled. For example, the current liabilities now includes a category called "Total Revenue" which appears to be interest bearing debt. Revenue is not a balance sheet item, though. I've been using Yahoo Finance in the classroom for twenty years, but this kind of thing makes it so unreliable that I'm afraid to do anything with it other than tell my students to never use it.
