save multiple chart settings for recall with easy link to subscriber portfolios
Many subscribers are commenting about unsaved chart settings. What bothers me more is the inability to save multiple chart settings for easy recall. This makes what I want to do very cumbersome thus time consuming. Time is money! What I want to see is the ability to pull up one of my portfolios, click on a charting button, then click on the symbol to be charted. The chart window would pop out over the portfolio screen. In the chart window one could change to the various saved chart settings. There would be a back button but the charting mode would stay on until clicked off - that way the next symbol of interest could just be clicked to be charted.
About saving data, which has been mentioned frequently, I think it unnecessary and too burdensome on Yahoo's systems. Releasing Yahoo from the data save 'need' will free up their systems development and production capacity to provide useful charting features that easily link to subscriber's portfolios.
I have subscribed to yahoo mail for many years but as a recent subscriber to Yahoo Finance Premium, Yahoo has disappointed.
