Add Symbol Error
When creating a new portfolio or adding symbols to an existing portfolio, the feature "+ Add Symbol" only adds the first symbol in a comma separated list. The feature previously worked correctly and added all the symbols in a comma separated list.
This issue is now fixed. Thank you for the feedback!

now only 28 symbols can be added, no more than that

Please change it back to the way it used to be. Adding multiple symbols at the same time in a portfolio is quite necessary.

Before I could copy an Excel columnar list of stocks w/ comma (except for the last stock name) and paste it on the portfolio stock name entry box, press enter and the whole list of stocks are entered in the portfolio. I have done this for up to 100 stock names. But now his feature does not work. Only one, the first stock on the list is entered. Please bring back the original feature.

Please fix this, as I use this feature of adding multiple symbols frequently.

First importing CSV files quit working. Now I can't even Cut & Paste a string of comma-separated symbols into the Add Symbol field. Only the first symbol gets added to the new portfolio. So, it's currently impossible to create a new portfolio without adding symbols one at a time! How useful is that?

The matter concerns the Yahoo Finance site.
Regarding a person’s personal portfolio of ticker symbols, currently, one can no longer input more than one ticker symbol at a time. Only a week ago, you could input well over 200, with no commas, and the tickers would populate. That is no longer. I tried inputting four tickers with commas and that failed too. The issue does not pertain to the existence or non-existence of commas.
This is a legitimate issue with this website that I am kindly requesting that it gets fixes ASAP.
Thank you.

I just learned this feature is not available with the latest version of Yahoo Finance. How disappointing! :(( PLEASE, PLEASE reinstate this feature. This feature has been integral part of Yahoo Finance since its beginning. As the saying goes, "if it ain't broken, don't fix it!"

In the past, I have been able to add multiple quotes to the portfolio, with commas separating the stock symbols. Usually, Yahoo would pick up the last symbol of the list to accept the additional symbols. Now it only recognize the first symbol of that list.

It appears that 2 issues with adding symbols to a yahoo portfolio began on or about Nov 3,2021
1. When adding multiple symbols separated by a comma only the first symbol is added.
2. When trying to add a custom symbol, the return/enter button doesn't response and the custom symbol is not added.
Example: When "$$CASH” is entered, the custom symbol “CASH” should appear. it does not.I am uncertain as how to reach out to Yahoo technical support to request a fix. Maybe others know another method besides leaving comments on this website?

Are you also experiencing a problem of adding a custom symbol as well?
Such as… Typing …
“$$CASH” which should make “CASH” appear as a custom symbol?
If so, vote on #12

Hi, I noticed today that I can no longer input multiple stock tickers into a portfolio at once. Normally inputing a string like "GOOGL, FB, XLE, SPY" would input all 4 tickers into the selected portfolio/watchlist. Now only one ticker at a time is added.

Same for manual entries. It worked in the past (also with spaces) - and even today tip still instructs us to separate entries by commas... :-).
Adding multiple entries one by one is not a user friendly option. -

My Portfolios 'Import' only loads one ticker from a list separated by commas.

I also have this problem since 3 Nov 2021.
It's very frustrating when you have long lists of quotes to add. -

Last week we were able to put a number of stock symbols in a portfolio all at once. This week you changed the input program so we have to
hit add symbol, put symbol in and hit add one at a time. -

This feature has been disappeared. Back, soon please. No one at a time is enough. Comma delimiter impossible in copy-paste. Commas should add manual.

I am also having the exact same issue. Started in the afternoon on Nov 3, 2021. I can add a comma separated list, however, only the first symbol entered is added to the portfolio. "+ Add Symbol" was working as expected prior to this.
