I kindly request consideration of looking into a news story with Barclay’s Bank US credit cards and their issue of accidental double charging on accounts for cash advances. This has happened to a significant number of accounts, how many they will not say but it is causing a delay in solving because they are stating it will take 1-2 billing cycles to repair due to the time to investigate all of these. In the meantime it put me over my credit limit and completely sank my credit score from 785 to 650, and they are doing nothing to fix it except apologize for the ‘inconvenience’. A search revealed this was a problem in 2016 and 2018 in other markets with Barclays. I noticed that you recently ran an ad-like article supporting their cards, and felt it is a news story worth noting that they do not support their customers and cause financial ruin, as they have for me.
