I remember this being an annoying issue for me in the past. I think we all know how to create new watchlists and name them as we please. No need for extra help from Yahoo cluttering things up.

Please stop auto-spawning a 'Following' portfolio. It is duplicative of other portfolios I already have and is completely useless, and keeps coming back like a zombie after I delete it.

Make it optional. It does me no good. It clogs up the listing of portfolio on the right side of the charts. thanks

I have deleted the Following folder three times, but it's like some kind of zombie and keeps reappearing. Yahoo! can't take no for an answer.

Stop creating a following in my finance. Leave it alone. One more time and I go to google finance and drop you.

A portfolio named "Following" shows up with my other portfolios and includes all securities listed in all my other portfolios. I have tried deleting the portfolio which seems to work, but then in a few days it will show up again. I also tried deleting all securities in the "Following" portfolio and the delete the portfolio, but it still will reappear. I believe it reappears anytime there is an activity/action reported for any of the securities on any of my other portfolios. While I can easily continue to delete this, at some point a permanent resolution would be appreciated. Thank you.

One trick I use for this “feature/bug/annoyance” that at least does not clutter my screen, is to leave the “following” portfolio BUT to delete its content. So it shows up as an empty portfolio. This will not recreate the prefilled following portfolio..
Needless to say, I would like it if yahoo did not create this portfolio in first place

The "following" portfolio is repetitive. I have all the stocks I want to follow in other portfolios. This "following" portfolio recently just appeared and I delete it but it re-appears. Yahoo introduced it, now I want the ability to delete it. thanks

I think some yahoo developer had to show his boss that he did something the whole year, and this is what he came up with.

It's sad. Every time I open up yahoo financial, I get a big pop up to get a premium page if i pay for it, but they can't even fix this silly "following" garbage.
If i deleted it 10 time, i deleted it 100 times, and it still pops up.
If you can't even fix this issue where it's 4th on the list of problems, you think I would spend 1 penny of my money to upgrade the yahoo financial page? LOL... joke of a company.
The more they change, the more they break.
Anyone here ever put on wish list they wanted a "following" portfolio? I can make one myself IF i wanted, but i don't. That's why I DELETE it, but yahoo knows better, i guess... -

I added this feedback a couple of weeks ago, and a Yahoo admin shut down the comments on it and turned off voting. They don't care.

Give us the option to not have it created! More worthless ideas from Yahoo.

A recent change now always puts "Following" at the top of My Portfolio even when I have deleted it. I have tried many ways to change it but it always comes back out on top,. Please fix or I may have to find a new go to page for my information.

I delete it and it comes back a day later.
