Buyer beware of Yahoo Finance trail period
I signed up for a trial run for Yahoo Premium access. I tried several times to cancel before the end of trial period but the system kept trying upgrading me. Then I called and was assured by customer service person in the Dominican Republic it was canceled. On the end of the trial period I was charged for $350 but luckily enough my Bank caught it and I rejected this as fraud and canceled my card. I called customer service and they claim there was no record of my call. When I tried to explain I also tried many times to cancel online it didn't work. They said I had signed up all my information and failed to cancel in time which is woefully misrepresentative of Yahoo Finance. I wonder how many other people have been tricked by Yahoo Finance in this manner?Maybe I should post this on Meta or other platforms warning people of this misrepresentation. Please pass this complaint on to your CEO and CFO. I don't think they realize there is fraudulent treatment of Yahoo's clients at the lower levels.
