Improve new portfolio format, add total holding, correct day and total gain and loss % and $
Yahoo finance is by far the best tool to monitor stocks and I have been using it since it introduction. The recent Beta version of portfolio is great because it has buy and sell and cash options, but is very annoying and I have stopped using it because.
The Cash Holding, Day Gain $ and % and the Total Gain $ and precedent, don't look right, it does not makes sense to me, or I don't understand. The old format showed the current total portfolio value, and the correct day and total $ and % gain or loss. Please bring back the old format but add the new features like transactions, dividends etc.
It does not show all the transactions and I have to click next to see more. This is time consuming and waste, I can scroll up myself. Stop this feature or at least show 50 lines before asking to click next
After entering a transaction, I need to click save. Is this really necessary, I missed several u because I forgot to click save.
When you show 52-week range, I recommend you show 52 week chart like the day chart which is far more useful than the range
How about adding a category field to allow me to filter which stock I want to monitor. Categories examples will be Finance, Crypto, Utilities, etc.
I have many more ideas and will be happy to discuss to send details to you outside of this forum.
