Do a better job at moderating the comments section.
Political divides and childish epithets for leaders are fine because it's harmless.
However, when an article discusses retail thefts the worst people will blame a specific minority. If it was true then that'd be fine but the reality is that it is the majority is at fault.
The lack of a pushback or proper moderation from Yahoo! exacerbates the false narratives. I will use the latest Dollar Tree article as an example and the most recent attack on the store specifically. While there may not be a correlation between the two, Yahoo! isn't doing there part to ensure productive discussions.
